Another gorgeous Frankart silhouette lamp. Signed and in very good condition. No breaks, or cracks to the metal base or figure. She's just stunning! The socket has been replaced, but we used a very high end new brass socket with switch. In time it will pick up it's own patina and blend in beautifully with the lamp. Wiring is new for safety but with the original bakelite plug. White glass panel is very heavy and beautiful. There are just a few tiny flea bites around the edges, unavoidable but unnoticeable. No cracks or large chips. All in all she's a wonderful example, clean and signed.   « Less

This lamp is heavy and very substantial. The highly detailed and beautiful base features the original finish while the beautifully posed nude was nicely repainted at some point. The frosted glass panel is probably not original, but it fits perfectly and looks beautiful. She's obviously a quality lamp although we haven't been able to find any markings on her. She's been totally rewired but retains the original bakelite switch and beautifully aged socket. She's an absolutely stunning mood lamp! This is a small perfume lamp made by Devilbiss. When lit the white shade gives off a warm pink glow while whatever perfume you prefer scents the room. These lamps are almost always missing the little perfume cup that fits over the bulb, but this one is complete, a very rare thing! The metal finish is in very good condition with no rust or pitting, just the expected wear. The glass is in remarkably good condition with only a few small flea bites on the very bottom & top edges, none visible when assembled, and barely visible when not. The paint on the shade is in excellent condition with only 1 very small spot where the paint rubbed away. It's only noticable when you really look for it, and just mentioned for accuracy. Looks to be the original wiring, uses a small bulb with a candelabra size base. This is an exceptionally clean, complete, and very nice example of a popular mood lamp. Don't hesitate too long, these always sell, and it would make an excellent gift for someone special!   « Less

This is a very unusual and rare Nuart lamp. It rarely comes up for sale. Has a clear Nuart marking on the bottom of the rim area (look closely at photo 6). Lamp features an intricately detailed deco style female form in a short dress. Very graceful and beautifully formed. The globe is a white crackle shade in very good condition. The nice thing about a white globe is that you can put colored bulbs in it and change the color every night to match your mood. It has been rewired for safety.Black base is made of white metal, no visible breaks or cracks, and finish is in very good condition but not original. Woman's form is also in good condition with no dents or cracks, but her finish probably is original. There's a little loss of paint around one ankle, common on these forms, but otherwise the paint is good. This is a very attractive lamp with classic deco styling.   « Less

At most you might find a tiny flea bite or two if you look at the ends very carefully. Metal is also in very good condition with no visible breaks or repairs, showing only the moderate wear that you would expect. Another fantastic art deco mercury globe table lamp! We've had 2 of these before, and they never last long! Unlit the globe is a silver reflecting ball, looks like a dark mirror, but when illuminated it gives off a beautiful soft orange glow like an autumn moon! Figure next to it is an intricately detailed deco style woman seated in a chair. It has been rewired for safety. Grey finish is in very good condition, but not original. Base is made of white metal. No dents or cracks in the metal base or figure. The shade shows only a little rim fitter roughness and a very small spot on the inner shade that's black. Soesn't seem to show on the outside, especially when lit, just mentioned for accuracy. This is a very attractive lamp with classic deco styling.   « Less

This unique vintage lamp definitely brings to mind the French Art Deco designs attributed to Desny during the late 20's & early 30's. Very well made & heavy. Wood base with layers of brushed aluminum plates, and plexi or lucite (I don't know which). Gives off a gentle golden glow. Very good, original condition with no visible damage. Showing only appropriate wear for its age. New wiring with original vintage plug and socket. This wonderful mood lamp is perfect for any Art Deco or Machine Age setting.   « Less
