Rossler amethyst glass vase with richly enamelled figure of Punchinello. Made Bohemia, 19th. I have seen an almost identical vase identified as French by Galle, but Rossler was famous for this rich enamelling. century.5 1/2inches high.Frilly edged amethyst glass vase. Tubular body widening at the bottom. Decorated with the extremely rich unmistakable enamelling of Rossler against a gold outlined background. A garland of enamel flowers underneath the figure is quite unusual. The figure wearing pantaloons of a turquoise blue, pink fringed vest of deep blue with a red shirt and white ruffled collar. A high hat on his head. Pink humpback. Red pompoms on his slippers. A dark stick held behind his back. Great detail.Excellent condition - no damage of any sort. Very rare tour de force of glass techniques in a single vase, made Bohemia by Moser or Fritz Heckert, 19th century.9 1/4inch high.Slender, elegant shape divided into sections, each with a different technique and pattern, all of the highest quality workmanship and beautiful design.The round, faceted, bottom leads to a band of blue enameled glass, cut away to a poppy pattern, with gilded scrolling foliage. Above this, 2 rich white enamel and gold seperating bands contain a very fine cut and coloured complex floral design, in which the polychrome stained glass immitates the complexities of cut glass. The patterns are cut and very finely gilded. Above this, all the way to the top is deeply cut glass, ending in scalloped fan rims.The area between deep mitres has a very subtle acid etched gilded pattern. Condition is excellent. Pair of pink glass bottleshaped vases with heavy overlay.Measure6 3/4inches tall each.Pastel pink vases. They were filled with a pinkish powder, most of which I have removed.The surface is covered with a very heavy layer of scrolling foliage and flowers. Unusually bold and cheerful. The vases are embossed underneath with factory/maker''s marks. I can''t make out all the letters, but they include MAI-L AI 6 B11 if that is of some help. Condition is very good. Blue glass cut away to reveal the white underlayer. Depict in mirror image, a dragon fly swooping down to large flowers and buds that delicately scroll around the entire surface of the vase. Loetz iridescent glass and enamel vase with unusual twisted shape. Made Bohemia 19th century.A little over 11 1/2inches high.General shape is rectangular, but the sides are twisted to give a strong sense of movement. The border on top has a gold panel about an inch wide that is decorated with black and white enamelling.The rest of the vase has fabulous iridescence on the extraordinary ground of blue-purple glass. Rossler Bohemian enamelled vase with jester / harlequin. 19th century. Measures 7 1/2inches tall.Fluted body of turquoise glass. Round, flattened base, wide tubular sides and frilly rim, turned over and folded with a transparent, slightly gilded edge. Against a typical stencil gilded background stands a richly enamelled harlequin / jester in front of an enamelled berry bush. Sword behind his back. Very fine workmanship and fabulous quality enamelling.Glass is in good shape with no chips/cracks of any sort. Gilding on the rim is poor, but this does not detract from the vase.
