This basket is probably of British or Bohemian manufacture, from the late 1800's / early 1900's. Outstanding antique Queen's Burmese Glass vase with hand painted leaf and berry design and an unusual crimped top edge.. Lovely coloration. This vase was made by Thomas Webb and Sons, circa late 1800's. The vase is marked on the base with black letters - some of the letters are smeared and rubbed off. Clearly legible is Queen's Burmeseware - patented. Part of the name Webb and part of Sons is visible. NOTE - pictures may be larger than actual vase. Exquisite and graceful large antique Victorian glass clam shell shaped bowl on a silver (plate or?) footed stand. The edges of the bowl are finished in an unusual asymmetrical pattern of points. The glass is artfully decorated with a polychrome enamel flower and scroll pattern. The inside of the bowl is a light blue glass, the outside of the bowl is opal. The silver base (plate or?) has a Rococo pattern of scrolls on the base as well as the feet. The bowl is attached to the base with a silver circle in the center of the bowl. Not sure who the maker is... Circa late 1800's / early 1900's.
