Mint condition pair of beautiful Whiting Lilly serving pieces. The serving fork measures more than 9 inches long and is 1-7/8 inches wide at its widest point. The serving spoon measures 9 inches long and is 2-1/8 inches long at its widest point. This is the best condition pair I have ever had the privilege to offer for sale, they are absolutely mint with no monograms or any condition issues. They are marked with a patent date of 1902, the Whiting mark of a lion with a W in a shield, and also marked sterling. They have an incised name after the sterling mark of A. NEWSALT. A. Newsalt was the retailer who was proud to put their store name on this set. Whiting Lilly is considered the most beautiful Art Nouveau pattern made. Circa 1940 pair of sterling silver 8 inch candlesticks numbered 0802. The candlesticks show an old repair where the base meets the bottom of the stick on one of the candlesticks. The other candlestick is slightly twisted at the base but stands straight and upright. Each candlestick has minor dings on the base. They are not marked weighted although the bases are heavy.
