Exceptional antique Victorian 18 carat gold bracelet in the form of a snake coiling around a cabochon garnet and mourning locket of hair, in it''s original, fitted box. Made in England approx 1840 - 1880. Weighs approx 23 g. Bracelet alone (excluding the locket) is 7 inches long. Bracelet consists of two parts: 1. a wavy, coiled series of gold links, fitting together, but allowing complete movement. At either end is a blue-bell flower shaped cap, finely engraved that swivels on a post attached to a sturdy loop. The loops from the two sides enclose the loop of the 2. locket part of the bracelet. On one side of the locket is a glassed-in compartment containing a lock of hair. The other side has a cabochon garnet within the finely engraved, rounded gold sides and all of this is encircled by a coiling snake. The detail and workmanship are superb and of the highest quality. Original fitted leather box, rounded, triangular shape with silk lining in lid and blue velvet on the bottom. The silk top has gold embossed: Certificated Watch & Clock Makers. HUDDY BROS. Paid of genuine Georgian, 18K gold and gem earrings. Made in France, late 18th - early 19th century (1790 - 1830). Total length of earring is approx 1 3/8 inches. Typical early French form with oval backs, closing ''backwards'' - going throught the ear from back to front, and supported in the center by an s-curve. The front, visible portion is a long panel of chased, repousse gold, 18 carat, with repousse gold wings on the sides. Three enclosures have raised settings of flowers. In the center of each is an old-cut red stone and the central flower has a ring of bright blue, lapis lazuli petals. Good condition. These genuine Georgian earrings are almost impossible to find any more and this pair is particularly attractive and elegant. Very fine Victorian buckle / belt ring made of engraved yellow gold. Circa 1850 - 1880. Size 7 1/2 - 8 (US) and weighs 8.2 gram. Exceptional workmanship. Ring is made out of a series of rectangles, joined by tiny hinges. The hinges are beautifully hand engraved in very elaborate, detailed patterns, amazingly - each pattern is different to the others. The ring is designed as a belt with a buckle and the front is made with the appropriately shaped parts, reticulated and moving to accommodate themselves to the finger. Not only is the workmanship highly impressive, but the ring looks wonderfully attractive on the finger. Platinum and diamond ring made during the Art Deco period, between 1920 and late 1930''s. Length of ring is just under 3/4 inch. American size 4 1/2, which will fit a very thin finger or can easilly be resized without compromising the ring in any way. Rectangular shape with gently rounded corners and slight arch to accommodate the curve of the finger. Superbly set diamonds in a classic Art Deco geometric design with half a starburst on diagonal corners, diagonal strips surrounding 3 larger stones and leading to the band, which is also set with diamonds near the top, expanding the design sideways. Quality and workmanship are exquisite. Hallmarks inside the ring are worn, but a P can be made out and we tested to confirm that the ring is platinum. We are not gemologists, but the diamonds look to be of a nice bright and clean quality. Condition is good. Victorian heart and bow diamond, yellow gold and turquoise necklace in original fitted case with the Queen''s mark. Made in England 19th century (1880-1900). Necklace is a little over 13 3/4 inches long. 3 diamond hearts under diamond bows, each suspend a cabochon turquoise in a gold mount. Turquoise swings inside the heart. The hearts are seperated by a gold chain with alternating pearls and smaller turquoise stones, with the pattern repeated in swags that fall gracefully underneath the chain, also between the hearts. Exquisite workmanship and design. Gold is unmarked, but tested for 18K. Ultimate Art Nouveau Arts And Crafts lavalier style necklace. Original to the period - Made circa 1890. Unsigned but could easilly have been made by the Guild of Handicraft or other craftsman of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau period. Total length with chain opened is over 17 inches. Distance from top of heart to bottom turquoise is approx 1 1/2 inches. Necklace is made of gilded metal, cabochon turquoise and fresh water pearls. The central section is a heart, twisted around curved foliage and with a round, high, cabochon turquoise in the center. This is attached by chains to two filigree set oval cabochon turquoise stones, the central swags with fresh water pearls in the middle of them. Suspended from the heart is a 4th turquoise, also set in scrolling gilt metal. Good condition.
