This is a delightful pair of antique single-arm brass sconces with porcelain bobeches, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features an understated oval backplate with a graceful white porcelain bobeche. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition with a minor manufacturing flaw in each backplate (pictured); they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a gorgeous pair of antique double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. The sconces feature an oval, beaded backplate surrounded by intricate foliate and volute detail and flanked with rose blooms, and the top of the sconce is crowned with flowers. The two sconce arms, ornamented with floral garlands, extend from the bottom of the sconce to hold bobeches formed of petals. These are four matching antique large double-arm sconces in cast iron, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features an intricate backplate crowned with a torch, leaves, and flowers; below, volutes frame a heart shape on the backplate. A shield accents the bottom of the sconce between the arms, with leaf detail below. Each sconce arm ends in a square floral patera, with a twisted finial below and an acanthus bobeche above. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. This is a splendid pair of antique Gothic Revival sconces, with their original flashed glass cylinders, dating from the 1930’s. These exterior sconces feature a rectangular, hammered backplate with a beveled edge; each sconce features a white flashed glass cylinder encircled by quatrefoil cutout bands. The sconce features a round roof with a ball finial; three hammered bands descend from the roof to the bottom of the sconce. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10” tall, 5 ½” wide, and projects 5 ¾” from the wall. This is a wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces from the 1920’s. The backplate features a sleek shield design, crowned with foliate detail flanked by volutes, with a garland running down each side. A pair of S-curved, fluted arms springs from a leaf-ornamented arm receiver bowl near the base of the backplate. Each arm holds an elegant, gadrooned bobeche.
