Extraordinary antique French silver and enamel cabinet vase. At the bottom of the vase is the impressed head of Minerva and the French maker's mark in a diamond. It has more markings on the underside, please click any picture for detailed enlargements of the maker's marks. This is the most detailed enamel vase I have seen in my more than 45 years in this business. The obverse central portion depicts a lovely couple elegantly dressed in 18th century clothing. She is holding a fan in her hand. Her friend hashis hand resting on a counter top looking admiringly at her. The reverse section of the enamel vase has raised gold decoration including 2 flying birds, raised gold flowers, and beautiful foliate decoration. The guilloche enamel background is a vibrant blue color. The condition is excellent no cracks, chips, or losses to the enamel. The vase measures 6-1/4 inches from top to bottom. The top has a diameter of 2-1/16 inches. The bottom has a diameter of 2-3/8 inches. Widest width at center 2-7/8 inches. This is a magnificent objet d' art guaranteed to please its new owner. Beautiful and very rare lovely composition of French Porcelain portrait female heads with gilt trim and yellow fluted top with white glaze in the center and bottom. The bottom has crossed blue glaze arrows and reads France. This piece dates circa early 1900's it is a unique sculpture that may be used in several ways. It could be used as a planter, a vase, a centerpiece, or a lovely decorative porcelain antique item to be displayed in a cabinet with other porcelains or on a desk top to be viewed and admired by its new owner. The lady's faces are beautifully sculptured in the classical style with long flowing hair and a head band. Extraordinary 3 iguana unique vase. The first iguana measures 7-1/2 inches from the tip of his nose to the back of his tail. The second iguana near the top of the vase measures more than 6 inches from his nose to tail. The third iguana is crawling out of the vase only half of his body can be measured at 3 inches long. The iguana's are extremely lifelike beautifully sculptured very high relief with great colors, expressions and lifelike appearance. In the more than 45 years I have been buying and selling antiques, traveling worldwide to find unusual pieces for my own and my client's collections, this is the first sculptured vase like this I have had the pleasure to see, purchase and offer for sale. This is an extraordinary vase. The base of the vase has a border of gold flowers and decorative scroll design. The bottom is unsigned. The bulbous bottom section is 4 inches wide. From the bottom of the vase to he top iguana's head crawling out of the vase measures 11 inches. The base measures 2-1/2 inches wide. The neck at the top of the vase measures 2 inches wide. This is a rare beautiful and wonderful decorative art object with sculptured iguanas that look so lifelike you think they are going to crawl right off the vase. Rare and very unusual large Royal Copenhagen vase # 4103 measuring 13-1/4 inches high. Diameter t the top 5-1/2 inches. Diameter at base 4-3/4 inches. This is a very unusual one, it has 3 high relief sculptured dancing figures along the sides of the vase. One of the figures is an Art Deco nude lady dancing. Another is a young pan or satyr dancing with a branch in his hand. The third figure is half man and half donkey with a donkey head and human male body form. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or losses. It does have some very light crazing as expected for a piece of this age. It is signed on the bottom Royal Copenhagen with the blue glaze marks and the number 4103. This is a very rare model we have never seen before. Guaranteed to please as are all our items. Exquisite antique 2 color German porcelain vase depicting a beautiful nude lady in the water with a Putto holding her head and reaching for the arrows in her hand. The vase is beautifully sculptured. The vase actually looks like waves of water. The top looks like snow and icicles. Her face as well as the Putto's face are masterfully sculptured. The bottom is signed Germany with a blue glaze and has a star like mark with a bar. It also has incised numbers 8191 over 1.
