This piece by Warick Weller is very nice. There is an "H" ink stamp on the bottom of the vase. The colors are very bright and brilliant, with chocolate brown handles and feet. The vase is done in colors of rust, yellow, and brick, and it has a leaf and berry motif that is green and red. The interior of the vase is rust and cream. The vase stands 4 7/8'' tall, 4 1/2'' from side to side, 1 3/4'' from front to back and weighs 1 pound. The exact age of this piece is unknown. We have a very nice Van Briggle pottery vase, in blue green color. It has a leaf pattern dressing the top of the vase. It has good markings on the bottom and is very nice, no chips. We found a very fine hairline scratch on the side. It was almost not noticeable. We could not see any on the inside of the vase. I do not know the exact age of this piece. It weighs about 2 pounds and measures 4.5 x 7.5 x 7.5. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. Exquisite pair of antique Paris porcelain extremely decorative and beautiful vases. The vases have Putto fully sculptured handles. The Putto are standing on a beautifully sculptured lady's head. The vases are further enhanced with 2 scenes, 1 depicting cherubs as musicians and the other 1 depicting cherubs as painters. The one depicting cherubs as painters has 3 cherubs, 2 painting and 1 modeling. The other vases have a circumference of 26 inches. These are beautiful museum quality vases. Each vase has a blue lozenge maker's mark on the bottom that reads HA&Cie. They're also marked by the retailer in New York Princeton Brothers Brooklyn who imported and sold this pair. For the most part the vases are in excellent condition showing some paint loss to the gilding along the bottom border and neck of the vases. The painted cherubs are beautifully hand painted with lovely colors. This is an extraordinary Paris porcelain pair of antique vases with a magnificent design and superb color combination. This pair of vases were appraised at $25,000.00 from the estate we purchased them in. They are a unique pair that will surely delight their new owner.
