This is a fabulous pair of antique brass single-arm Neoclassical sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features an oval backplate with a leaf-and-dart border. Cast brass arms, ornamented with leaves and bead-and-reel detail, support gadrooned bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a wonderful pair of antique double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features an oval brass backplate with a floral button in the center; two sconce arms, fastened to the backplate with polychrome florets, support foliate bobeches with green tassel finials below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. This is a splendid antique Georgian double-arm sconce in gilded bronze, dating from the early 1900’s. This unusual three-light sconce has a light in the backplate behind a veil of intricate glass beadwork. The sconce is crowned with a gilded torch ornamented with anthemia and a rope border; below, the backplate is encircled by a gilded laurel wreath border. A gilded stem extends from either side of the backplate, hung with crystal spears. Faceted beads form the backplate, converging on a glass flower. The arm receiver bowl at the base of the sconce is ornamented with leaf detail, supporting two smooth, gold plated arms. Each arm holds an elegant bobeche hung with icicle prisms. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This large (20 inches tall) American Rennaisance Revival Wall sconce light probably started out as a gas light and was electrofied. Based on the size this was probably in a large mansion or a commercial building. Simply magnificient. Currently with wire added to plug in, but designed to be direct wired. Gorgeous cast desails. The globe is a full 8 inches across and I have seen just globes like these sell for over 150.00 by themselves. Wonderful etched glass design. This piece will look great in any home. Obviously the globe will require special packaging if you want this shipped (please inquire. For safety sake we'd rather this be picked up but can work with your shipper. This is a fabulous pair of antique double-arm cast iron sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in a warm chocolate brown. The sconces feature a shield-shaped backplate with a rope border and acanthus leaves at the top and bottom. The top of the backplate is adorned with a crest, and a torsade-bordered patera with acanthus leaves surrounds the button on the backplate. Two wrought iron sconce arms extend from the bottom of the backplate, supporting foliate bobeches. Each sconce finishes in an acanthus finial at the bottom. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
