This is a fabulous pair of antique single-arm Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the 1920’s and retaining their original polychrome finish. The sconces feature a hammered backplate crowned with volutes and flowing foliate detail. Below, the sconce arm ends in a bold foliate design with red and turquoise flowers. Above the leaf design, the arm is accented with a quatrefoil, supporting a cutout bobeche with red leaves. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. This is a magnificent pair of antique double-arm Tudor sconces, dating from the 1920’s, with fleur-de-lis accents. Each sconce features a shield-shaped backplate bordered in rope detail with acanthus leaf accents and crowned with an anthemion. A square arm extends from the middle of the backplate, ending in a splendid, vertical twisted rod, supported by a curled band. The rod is accented with a finial on each end. A rectangular platform on each sconce, bordered in fleurs-de-lis and scallops, supports the two lights. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a gorgeous antique Neoclassical double-arm sconce, dating from the early 1900’s, in its original silver plate over bronze. The sconce begins with an elegant loop finial atop an urn; below, the sconce features a round backplate with foliate accents. A graceful band of twisted vines, showing distinct Art Nouveau influences, runs across the center of the backplate; below, the arm receiver bowl is ornamented with a pair of leaves springing from volutes. Smooth, J-shaped arms extend from the base of the backplate to support bobeches ornamented with the same elegant vine design found on the backplate. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These are three matching antique Art Deco pocket sconces, dating from the 1930’s, originally from a theater. These sconces feature a semi-circular shape and are accented with clear stars. The bottom of each sconce is finished in a semicircle of white glass. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites at the edges. This is a superb pair of antique cast bronze double-arm sconces with verdigris and purple prisms, dating from the early 1900’s. The sconces feature an elegant verdigris bronze backplate with bronze stems supporting glass florets and smooth teardrop prisms, some of which have turned lavender from sun exposure. Vine-like sconce arms are hung with prisms and support bronze wax pans and candle cups, and graceful strands of beads drape from the top of each sconce to the bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired. The sconces are 11” tall, 9 ¼” wide, and project 4” from the wall. This is a magnificent pair of antique double-arm Georgian sconces with prisms, dating from the 1920’s and made of cast iron. Each sconce features a rectangular backplate ornamented with flowing leaf detail, showing Art Nouveau influence. The backplate has a rope border and is crowned with a bouquet of flowers, with delicate volute detail running down the sides of the backplate. The sconce arms extend from an anthemion at the base of the sconce, and are accented with a bead pattern. The bobeches are ornamented with a leaf design and hung with icicle prisms.
