Charming antique Arts and Crafts door hardware sets with doorknobs and backplates, dating from the early 1900's. Very similar in style to Reading Hardware's Mycena pattern. The doorknobs feature a simple bead and reel border; the rectangular plates feature beveled edges and the same bead and reel border. This hardware is in very good antique condition. The door knobs measure 2 1/4" diameter and 2" deep; the plates are 2 5/8" wide by 7 1/2" tall. Each set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates (enough hardware for one door). Fantastic antique Corbin Roanoke bronze Art Nouveau door knob set, c. 1900, with its matching plates. The doorknob features a beaded border and beaded center, with a beautiful asymmetrical floret and foliate design between. The beautiful Art Nouveau back plates feature a coordinating asymmetrical design of stylized floral and vine detail amid volutes interspersed with a bead pattern. Each knob measures 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; each plate measures 8” tall and 2 1/8” wide. This door hardware set is in excellent condition with a lovely patina. The set includes two plates, two knobs, and the connecting rod with its two screws. A wonderful antique door hardware set, signed Yale & Towne, in their “Plymouth” design, featured in an 1910 catalog, with a lock patent dated 1898. Made of cast brass, this set includes a Yale Vulcan Lock, a pair of doorknobs connected by Yale’s Triplex spindle, and two plates. The plates have a sleek design with volutes at the top. The doorknobs are quite heavy and have a very nice feel in the hand, featuring an eye-catching radial design. Each plate is 2-1/2” wide and 8” long; the doorknobs are 2” wide and 2-1/4” deep. The lock has a faceplate 5-1/4” long and 7/8” wide, with a 2-3/4” backset. The doorknob has some roughness around the base (pictured) that will be hidden when the set is installed.
