Charming sculpture of Albert Edward, later the Prince Consort to Queen Victoria, at age 5, after the 1846 painting by Franz Xavier Winterhalter. Little Albert wears a sailor suit, which was to set the fashion for small boys for the rest of the 19th century. The sculpture is signed on the base A. Gueyton. It is 20.25" H and 7.75" W at the elbows; the base is 5.75" in diameter. Joseph Charles de Blezer bronze figure of an arts muse in rare ormolu finish in ormolu c1880. She is seated langorously in a lyre back chair and holds a jester stick and a mask. The gilt bronze surface is in excellent condition, with gentle wear at the side of the face. Measures 12.75 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 12 inches high with base. J C de Blezer was a 19th century French sculptor born in Ghent, Belgium. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris under renowned sculptor Jean Baptiste Clesinger.De Blezer's best known work was his 1870 bust of American abolishionist John Brown, now in the collection of Oberlin College. Tiffany Studio Single Desk Blotter in the Diamond & Square Pattern Here we have a single Desk Blotter in the Diamond & Rectangle Pattern Signed "Tiffany Studios, New York" , marked with the number 1796. Single ONE from a Pair of "Blotter End" and measure 19.24" long and are 2.24” wide. The Blotter is what seems to be brass on the back and Bronze on the top with a nice patina. This would be great as a framed designed work as well as a single Blotter on the top of a Desk Blotter. This Single Blotter is in very good condition with no visible sign of damage with touches of Verde Green to the patina. The Buyer will be delighted with their purchase.   « Less

Dale Evers was born in 1955, in San Diego, CA. He entered the Army in 1975, 25th Infantry Division. He attended Hawaii College and Cuesta Community College, 1980. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1985 (Industrial Arts). His founded The New Bronze Age Foundry in Morro Bay in 1992. He became an Honored Alumnus of Cuesta College for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts in 1998. "The Art and Design of Dale Evers" was published in 2000 by Addi Publishing, Reno, NV. Antique Lighter : STUNNING COLD PAINTED ORIENTALIST GROUP: BEDOUINS & CAMEL VIENNESE COLD PAINTED MODEL OF NUBIAN MERCHANTS, ONE SELLER RIDING A CAMEL IN THE MANNER OF FRANZ BERGMANN ( NAMGREB ) A fine & large Art Deco Vienna style cold-painted figural table lighter in the form of Nubian traders with Camel displaying a large carpet rug, the younger boy wearing a Fez sitting on the camel saddle with the carpet unrolled whilst the older man shows it of in all its splendor. Circa : 1900 - 1930 7.75 inches (20cm) height x 6.5 inches (17cm) width x 3.25 inches (8.5cm) depth approx Good overall Antique Condition - the base has been broken down the middle and re-stuck - one side of the rope twist is off and flaking to the cold painted finish mainly to the hat and back of the figure sat on the camel and a bit to the camel's head - please see images - sold as seen but a very nice item needing only a little cosmetic easy repair - lighter untested but appears all present A lovely item which does not come onto the market very often   « Less
