These characters by Douglas Jerrold first appeared in Punch in 1845. Bright colorful enamels. Good creamy glaze. Vent hole underneath. Similar piece illustrated figure 1031, page 282, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding. Good. No cracks. No hairlines.
