This is a sleek pair of antique brass double-arm sconces, dating to the 1920’s. An oval loop finial crowns each sconce, meeting an urn-style, banded body. The circular back plate supports two S-curved arms with modest bobeches. The arms are ball-buttoned to the back plate, displaying stylized acorn finials beneath. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and would complement any Colonial Revival, Adamesque, or Georgian décor. The sconces have been professionally rewired, and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These are 13 ¾” long, 10 ½” wide and project 6” from the wall.   « Less

These are four matching antique Georgian pocket sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. These three-arm sconces are made of iron with brass accents. Each sconce features an open design composed of iron volutes, with a bold iron band running down the front. The top edge is finished in a torsade border, and the base of the sconce is accented with a brass finial swathed in acanthus leaves. A triad of brass arms springs up from the bottom of the sconce inside the volute front; each arm supports a brass foliate bobeche, highlighted by the sconce’s black backplate. These sconces are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Fresh from a local Brooklyn brownstone, this unusual single brass sconce features a single, swirled milk glass gas arm (up) in the form of a candle and bobeche. The down facing arm is a simple electric fixture with a soft white satin glass shade. The canopy is round brass in a bell shape. Perfect for the purist, only the socket and wiring is new.
