Salvaged antique fireplace mantel with beveled glass mirror and dentil trim, dating from the early 1900s. This fireplace begins in an upper pediment with curving straps on both sides, moving down to a recessed beveled mirror crowned by a strip of dentil trim. Two projecting side shelves mark the beginning of square column mantel legs. A projecting mantel shelf runs between the legs with a supporting center bracket. The mantel measures approx. 83” tall, 60” wide, and 12” deep; the firebox opening is approx. 42” wide and 39” tall.   « Less

Magnificent antique tiger oak Arts and Crafts fireplace mantel with original slag glass, dating from the early 1900s. This quarter-sawn mantel features upper cabinetry with two divided-light doors, flanked on either side by gorgeous purple slag glass panels. Beneath the cabinets is a recessed panel and shallow mantel shelf. The mantel legs are straight-forward with strong, clean lines. As you can see from the pictures of the hardware and the difference in the wood grain, the cabinet doors and hardware have been replaced at some point, while the rest of the mantel is original. There is a light switch seen on one side of the mantel that is meant to light up the glass side panels, though we have not examined the wiring and this feature is sold as-is. The mantel measures approx. 57-1/2” wide, 71-3/4" tall, and 12-1/2” deep; the firebox opening is approx. 41-1/2” wide and 41-3/4” tall. NFPM46-RW   « Less

Stunning antique Neoclassical two-piece fireplace cover and surround, circa 1890’s. The cast iron surround features a beaded border with a hood protruding over the summer cover below. The insert features a wreath and ribbon crowning a slotted section. Below, a panel of pierced balusters tops a slotted panel with stylized garlands. This set is in very good antique condition with some rust as pictured. The overall height, including the surround, is 30-3/4”, and the overall width is 30-1/2”.
