An unusual traveling timepiece made in England signed on dial "Waltham Watch Co., Waltham, Mass. The bracket on the back of the clock would fit into a glass light which would illuminate the dial from behind.
Clock found in original condition including the leather box. Milk glass dial appears to be in near mint condition with a hair line crack. A gas wall mount is provided for display
Clock measures 5 1/4" diameter
This would make a great addition to someones clock or light collection.

This exceedingly rare Waterbury Alarm clock is not to be found in my library of book or on the internet. It retains its original battery, light bulb and key. A switch on the front of the base allow activating the light. The early original bulb is present showing unusual shape.
The original battery, however its power has long been exhausted, retained to maintain the originality. The clock also has an alarm that rings a small bell.
Every aspect of this small Waterbury present as original. The condition of the brass case, face and the beveled glass are perfect showing no damage. The condition of the case shows as original.
This timepiece with alarm and light is in pristine condition worthy of Museum presentation. « Less
