These 10 cent perfume dispensers were found in the better restaurant and hotel rest rooms. For one thin dime you could indulge yourself in a luxurious spray of your favorite perfume. One of the cleanest examples of these machines that we've seen, this unit is being sold as complete but untested. The unit is in very good condition, especially the enamel. It shows moderate wear, but considering the heavy use these machines got, it's really in very good shape. No heavy scratching, and virtually no paint loss, except on the base, which is evident in the photos. Retains the original marquee, which is missing more often than not, and that is also in very good condition. It's difficult to find these units complete anymore, and finding one this clean is even harder! Included are about a dozen original black window cards for the more popular perfumes, so you can change your selections as the mood hits.   « Less

Original finish is good; paint is very presentable, but not perfect. Shows minor wear for its age, but very little rust and no damage except a small piece missing from 1 small plastic window. This is a beautiful example of a catalin Seth Thomas alarm clock. Runs very well, and keep fairly accurate time for its age & type. Fully functional and complete. The appearance of the clock is exceptional. We've left it in an unpolished condition, giving the new owner the choice of whether to polish or not. The catalin has no problems; it's free of chips, cracks, and burns. If you look at the bottom you can get a hint of how it would look polished. All in all a wonderful clock!   « Less

Very Elegant Manning Bowman Mantel Clock. Substantial size combined with a rich, dark finish on the wood body, and a classically clean face make a wonderful piece, and not just for mantels! Condition is very good, with just a slight crazing on the original finish, and very slight paint loss to the back cover. No damage at all to the wood body or to the face. We had to live with this one for a couple of years before we could even think about parting with it. In all that time we've never seen another one like it. This one is really special! Made by Spartus, this spinner clock features a fully working Western motion scene that lights up when you turn the switch. The bottom of the clock looks like a miniature stage, with a curved plastic cover sporting a painted cowboy and cactus. The backdrop is a western scene with more cowboys, wagons, mountains, praries, and sky. In the middle is a vertical plastic tube that revolves as the clock spins. Inside the tube is another western scene on what looks like a paper cylinder. The scene changes from a horse drawn covered wagon to another mounted cowboy, all against a colorful background of mountains, sky, and birds. The detail is very impressive!Overall condition is very good, but it does show some age. The colors are still bright and vibrant, and all of the graphics are in very good condition with no loss of picture at all. The plastic cover over the western scene is a slightly brittle, and has one or two very small, minor cracks in the top. They are barely visible, and you really only see them if you look for them. There are also some very tiny tears in the backdrop of the center tube, but again they do not affect the graphics at all, and you really have to look to find them. The bakelite case is in very good condition with no visible damage. The clock face is clean and all numbers are intact. The clock has been running and appears to keep good time, and the scene lights when the switch is on. Aside from the very minor wear mentioned in the bottom, the clock is really very clean, original, and complete. I only mention these tiny flaws to be totally accurate.This one is very special, and I don't think it will last long, so don't hesitate! It's not too early to start thinking about Christmas for someone who collects Western curiosities, or as a spectacular night light for a child's room.   « Less
