Just in from an estate sale, we were told this lovely Italian flush mount crystal chandelier is from the 1960''s. (We found a sticker on the fixture that says ''Made in Italy''.) The fixture consists of 5-tiers or rings, the top tier/ring is brass and the next 4 decending tiers/rings are silver. The crystal beads and ball are all in good condition. We believe the crystals were made by ''Strass'' because of the brilliant firey colors they produce when lit. We have professionally cleaned & rewired the chandelier and it''s ready to be installed. This is a very nice vintage single-lite flush mount fixture w/vintage globe. The fixture has an antique pewter finish on the metal base. The socket is new and it has been rewired. The vintage globe is a glossy white in color. It is in good condition except for a chip on the fitter edge, which is completely covered when the globe is in place. The globe is 8'' in diameter.
