Country of Origin:USA Condition:New Year:20th C.Limited edition eact replica of a Sabertooth Tiger skull (Smilodon fatalis californicus) borrowed and copied from the La Brea (California) Tar Pits. Perfect for a table desk ornament or bookcase and even comes with a nice metal stand. Looks and feels like bone. If it was an original piece it would be worth at least $250000. Found in the 1930's across the street from the La Brea Tar Pits. The site was immediately closed and is now under a bank building. This individual is remarkable in that it has its septum intact and has virtually no reconstruction. The molding and casting process captured the nasal cavity with its septum as well as the cavities where the sabers go. The sabers are complete. Available in white or black.   « Less

Fine Reproduction of a Orange Fitzhugh Eagle Porcelain Punch Bowl measuring 10 1/8" in diameter amd 4 1/2" in height. Circa Early 20th century. Round with steeply curving sides,the foot ring measures 1/2" X 4 1/2". The famous Fitzhugh Pattern in Orange with Sepia pattern, puce ribbon and white ground shield with initials BSP. The eagle is known as the Type VI and the monogram copies that on a original Fitzhugh Service with those initials of a unknown owner. A plate from this original service is shown in "Schiffer's CHINA FOR AMERICA" 1980.
