What a superb pair of 19th Century French porcelain sinks! These sinks were purchased in the South of France and are absolutely amazing. Flawless white porcelain with a blue floral transferware pattern, textured on each side of the faucet; ideal for a bar of soap. Having the original bronze hardware with each faucet head shaped into a griffin and a porcelain knob that reads "Froid." This is French for "cold." Also with the bronze stopper and chain, and 6 vents for water drainage. They are both marked on the back with the maker's seal that mimics "Dieu Et Mon Droit," the motto of the British Monarch. This motto refers to the divine right of the Monarch to govern and is said to have first been adopted as the royal motto of England by King Henry V in the 15th century. The motto is French for "God and my right shall me defend." These sinks are in overall pristine condition and have been preserved very well. Circa around 1860. 23.5W X 18D X 16H. Exquisite pair of antique Paris porcelain extremely decorative and beautiful vases. The vases have Putto fully sculptured handles. The Putto are standing on a beautifully sculptured lady's head. The vases are further enhanced with 2 scenes, 1 depicting cherubs as musicians and the other 1 depicting cherubs as painters. The one depicting cherubs as painters has 3 cherubs, 2 painting and 1 modeling. The other vases have a circumference of 26 inches. These are beautiful museum quality vases. Each vase has a blue lozenge maker's mark on the bottom that reads HA&Cie. They're also marked by the retailer in New York Princeton Brothers Brooklyn who imported and sold this pair. For the most part the vases are in excellent condition showing some paint loss to the gilding along the bottom border and neck of the vases. The painted cherubs are beautifully hand painted with lovely colors. This is an extraordinary Paris porcelain pair of antique vases with a magnificent design and superb color combination. This pair of vases were appraised at $25,000.00 from the estate we purchased them in. They are a unique pair that will surely delight their new owner. We have for sale a beautiful RS Germany Tray. The two handle tray is out lined in gold with a flower design in the center. The colors are bright and vivid. They are purple, blue, orange, pink, green and white. On the back side is a symbol. It has a star and then RS with leaves on each side and between the RS with Germany under it. This was gotten at an estate sale, they were collectors. They had place tagged on the underneath RS Germany 1900. I can not confirm the date or exact age. It has been used over the years. The gold has worn some and there is very fine scratch marks, almost unnoticeable. No cracks or chips. It weighs 1 pound and measures 15.5 x 5.5.
