An unique pair of Victorian chandelier dangle earrings, for pierced ears, diamonds set and 18kt rose gold, Circa 1830's in very good antique condition. Details: Style: Victorian Period: ca. 1830 Condition: very good condition Country of origin: Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe it to be of Dutch or Belgian origin. Material: 18k red gold and silver Technique: The rose cuts are set on foil. This is a special technique that was used to bring the lustre of the diamonds to its best quality. Diamonds: 62 rose cut diamonds (31 in each earring). We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts. The irony and uniqueness, it has a key and a chain for winding. excellent aged, working condition. medallion impressive, magnificent detailing. Triple case, each with special identification. from Great Britain. Sterling Standard marks from around 1821, a town mark, sign of Birmingham. WE (Maker's mark) number 9640 interior of the first cover. Mechanism, slight golden, indicates "Warranted English Lever 326728". Second cover interior, standard lion mark Sterling.
