Mint condition—no chips, cracks or repairs—on this pair of antique, period Arts & Crafts matte green creamers by Zanesville Pottery. As shown, this pair includes a tall and short creamer, both made of rich yellowware clay with an all-over matte green glaze. Both have some minor manufacturing flaws typical of Zanesville, but neither has any post-production damage… just as they were originally made.
The short creamer measures 3 ½†wide by 2 ½†tall and is impressed with the mold number 578 on the underside.
The tall creamer measures 3 ¼†wide by 3 ¾†tall and is impressed with the mold number D1 on the underside.
A great pair of unusual Zanesville art pottery. « Less

Mint condition—no chips, cracks or repairs—on this antique spongeware stoneware pitcher. As shown, this pitcher features all-over sponge decoration with a blue band along the top and a small handle with thumb press top.
This is the cleanest spongeware pitcher we’ve ever offered. Again, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is minor aggravation to the top rim, and we mean minor. You just can’t find much spongeware in such great condition. This pitcher measures 6 ¾†tall by 7 ¼†wide. An investment-quality piece. « Less

Boylston Antiques is Proud to Offer for Sale
An Early Roseville Stoneware Brown Grazing Walking Cow Pitcher Pre-1916
This 7 1/2†tall stoneware art pottery pitcher has brilliant brown, green and yellow tones. One side features a grazing brown cow, the opposite side features a walking brown cow. Both cows are situated under a green tree with brown bark. The green of the leafy tree is repeated in the green of the grass the cow is standing on. It is pre-1916, as it is only marked with the number “7†on the bottom.
The handle is painted a tree-bark brown and is in wonderful condition. The spout is also in good shape.
It is rare to find a pitcher in such good condition. This one has 2 very tiny rim-chips (see photos) and several hairline age cracks (see photos) inside amid the general crazing associated with a stoneware pottery product of this age.
Pitcher measures 8 ½†spout to handle. The top diameter is 5 ¾â€.
Please ask any questions prior to offering to purchase.

A very pretty Victorian Blushware Jug and decorated in gilt and fine jewelling with flora
This is an extraordinary pretty Jug - buyer will be completely delighted
Condition: Good - internal light crazing as expected and a small flake under the glaze from time of
manufacture - this is not easily noticed unless you are looking for it (as I obviously have to).
Manufacture quality is particularly good, in my view far superior to even the fine Carlton or Devon pieces I have handled
