Beautiful antique decorative tiles, dating from the late 19th Century. Each tile is ornamented with a pair of torch-shaped urns filled with roses, with a geometric border running along the top and bottom of each tile. This salvaged tile, originally used either in around a fireplace or in a vestibule, is in good antique condition with the usual minor scratches and chips that you see on antique tile. A fabulous antique American stained glass window, dating from the early 1900s. The window features a stylized flower with a light pink blossom and green leaves and stem, with turquoise slag glass and red accents on a clear granite glass background. The window is bordered in a gorgeous multicolored slag glass. The glass is in very good condition with one tight hairline (pictured) which is barely noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the window. A stunning antique three-piece hand-carved figural staircase with mermaids, sea creatures, women, and flowers. Salvaged from a house built in 1939, this set features astonishing detail, and includes two long pieces for a stair handrail and a smaller section designed for a landing. The first handrail section, intricately carved on both sides, begins with a woman with flowing hair, surrounded by water lilies and other flowers, atop carved waves. Below, a second girl rides a whiskered sea creature amid aquatic plants; at the bottom, a little girl hides among leaves. The landing section, carved only on one side, features a large fish at the bottom of the sea, surrounded by carved plants, flowers, and rocks. The second handrail, also carved only on one side, features a mermaid in the center, flanked by large fish amid leaves and flowers. The first handrail section is approx. 12’ (145”) long, 35 ¾” tall at the top section, and 25-1/2” tall on the bottom end. The landing piece measures 31” by 43”. Your viewing a absolutely Huge Chinese Cloisonne Urn or Vase Planter. (flower planter on top sold seperately). I was told when I purchased it that it is circa early 1800's. Dragon/Elephant Handles and Square Hatch Mark Designs all around with Dragon heads displayed around in the design...beautiful. No signatures or marks were found. Condition of the Urn is Excellent considering its age, Age pitting to cloisonne, but exhibits beautifully and adds so much character not a deterrant at all. Pls see pictures...
