For sale is this vintage Grazia Deruta pottery bowl. Deruta is a village in Italy that has been producing pottery for over a century, and Grazia is one of there better known makers. The bowl stands 4 1/2" high and is 10" in diameter at the top. The central theme is primitive looking stags dancing. There is a stag theme at the bottom of the bowl and two separate views on either side of the bowl. There are rim chips on the base as shown with crazing on the interior and paint flecks on the rim. This late 1800's early 1900's yellow ware pitcher is likely McCoy, but no maker marks. Stands just over 8 1/2" and has a grape motiff on either side. Measures 8 1/2" tip of spout to handle. There are chips on the bottom rim as shown and also a chip at the tip of the spout, otherwise no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a normal amount of crazing for the age. Primitive green paint against the yellow body, a great old piece of pottery. That piece of pottery on the bottom does not interfere with normal standing. « Less

A Wedgwood platter in the California pattern, circa 1849/1850. There is a crack which does extend to the back as shown, with glue on the back. Also, somebody decided to write on the back (Parker, antique from Lucynthia Parsons). The piece measures approx. 16"x 12". Crazing throughout. All that being said if this is going to a home owner the piece displays very well and would still look quite attractive in any room. The blue is rich and attractive. « Less

One plate has 1 rim chip and another has a rim paint flake. There are no cracks. All 4 show heavy wear and surface abrasions from use. These have been used well! A stunning Capodimonte figural charger or wall plaque (has attachment on back for wall hanging as shown). The piece measures 11 1/2" in diameter and is 1 1/2" high. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is a little loss in the gold wash borders otherwise the colors are vibrant. Classical Greek central depiction in full relief of the body. All people, buildings, trees and birds are in relief. Marked in blue on the back.

Charles Ahrenfeldt& Son porcelain vanity tray, decorated in Altrohla circa 1890. "1886 the decorating studio was established operated by Charles Ahrenfeldt & Son in Altrohlau, Bohemia, Austria. It was called a porcelain factory, though porcelain was never produced there. It was sometimes called Carlsbad China Factory and the product was advertised as "Altrohla Ware." The green mark on the back was used 1886-1925. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 17" handle to handle and stands 1" high. Vibrant pink, blue, green, and yellow floral patterns with a gold outer rim. The date on the back of 1883 is likely when the actual tray was made, and then it was later decorated. « Less
