Both signed “Hecho en Mexico, Amora†(made in Mexico, Love). Both are pierced for hanging and will surely brighten any room! Both have some very minor glaze checking, otherwise perfect. This interesting vintage blue picture transfer plate was made to pay tribute to the workers of Denmark’s first telephone company, Kiobenhavns, in 1911! It depicts telephone workers pushing a cart of striped telephone poles on a cold Winter day in front of a large building, probably the Kiobenhavns company building.
It is about 8†wide and in perfect condition, only age glaze checking. Nicely marked on back “Furnivals Limited, Trade Mark, England†with a Viking ship trade mark. Originally pierced for hanging with original string!
Extremely rare offering!
