Wonderful vintage colored fish bowl made of yellow/green vaseline glass. Circa 1930's. Passes the blacklight test. In some lights it's more yellow than green. No visible damage, clear and beautiful, water tight & ready to use. No cloudiness or water stains in the glass. This style is very unusual, and color is gorgeous! This set is truly exceptional!! Extreme deco graphics feature 'Empire Theatre' tickets, canes, top hats, lit cigarettes, gloves, martini glasses, carnations and champagne bottles on an elegant cream colored background. Set consists of wooden tray painted a very pale yellow and covered with reverse painted glass, and 6 tumblers with black plastic cane shaped stirrers. The wood of the tray shows some light to moderate wear, but is still extremely presentable and the graphics are all in excellent condition. There is a tiny flake in the reverse paint on the tray, not the glass, just the paint (bottom area on right side). All glass is free of chips, cracks, or damage of any kind. All 6 canes are present and accounted for with no cracks or damage. The reverse painting is extraordinary with no visible loss of paint, cracking, or peeling. This special set needs no excuses! You won't find a cleaner set any time soon!   « Less

This is a truly stunning black glass console set with sterling overlay. Set consists of a large bowl and 2 matching candlesticks. The condition is exceptional! No chips, breaks, or cracks, and the sterling overlay is as close to perfect as I've ever seen. No missing or faded overlay that I can see, no flaws at all. This is one of the most ornate overlay pieces I've seen. The floral design is just beautiful! The sterling mark is on the outside rim of each piece. I don't know the maker, but it's obviously a set of superior quality. There's a small piece of the original price tag on the bottom of the bowl, but not enough to tell me anything. These 10 cent perfume dispensers were found in the better restaurant and hotel rest rooms. For one thin dime you could indulge yourself in a luxurious spray of your favorite perfume. One of the cleanest examples of these machines that we've seen, this unit is being sold as complete but untested. The unit is in very good condition, especially the enamel. It shows moderate wear, but considering the heavy use these machines got, it's really in very good shape. No heavy scratching, and virtually no paint loss, except on the base, which is evident in the photos. Retains the original marquee, which is missing more often than not, and that is also in very good condition. It's difficult to find these units complete anymore, and finding one this clean is even harder! Included are about a dozen original black window cards for the more popular perfumes, so you can change your selections as the mood hits.   « Less
