An amazing charm bracelet with a bunch of US gold coins attached. The highlight would be an 1878 $3 gold coin that is XF in grade but polished and loop attached at top. In XF this coin alone is $1500. There is one Type $1 gold dollar that is a love token. Love tokens are coins that were modified by engraving a name or initial(s) of a loved one, and then served as a gift. Most started with U.S. Seated dimes, but just about all coins throughout the world were used. These are valued for their workmanship and metal value, for example, at equal workmanship, a gold coin love token is worth much more than one on silver or copper. There are two type 2 gold dollars one as a love token the other dated 1862 and holed to hang as a charm, a happy birthday charm of recent origin 14k, Ice tongs with a piece of crystal in the tongs, a 14k bell, a trolley car on stand from San Francisco, Washington medal with the lords prayer, 3 earring one jade one dish shaped gold with garnet, one gold, 4 soroity pins, one with diamonds (3) rubies (2) and pearls, one gold and silver love token all on a 14K gold chain. Weighs 1.1 ounce with much of the gold being 22K (gold coins are 22K .900). 17 charms in all. Probably put together in the late 1880s and then added to in the 50s and 60s. Interesting bracelet with lots of lost history. Status: For Sale Reference#: 485367 Condition: vg Year: 1900 « Less

Amaxingly nice set of late Georgian or early Victorian earrings set with quite large mine cut diamonds. Lower drop diamonds are about 1 carat each maybe a bit more very hard More »
Amaxingly nice set of late Georgian or early Victorian earrings set with quite large mine cut diamonds. Lower drop diamonds are about 1 carat each maybe a bit more very hard to measure on mine cuts. The upper diamond is about .5 carat maybe a tad less. Overall approximately 3 carats of Georgian diamonds. These earrings have been ''upgraded'' in Victorian / Edwardian times by the addition of a drop in between the two diamonds sections. Added circa 1900 along with the little balls at the bottoms the effect is quite nice and they are great looking on. Easily converted back if you prefer this is a rare and unusual set to have survived this long with such big original diamonds. Gold tests 14k. Circa 1830.About 2 1/4'' tall super rare set with no problems. Status: For Sale Reference#: 485276 Condition: vg Year: 1830 « Less

Nice and quality Victorian piece with garnets and white sapphires. Very Etruscan and circa 1860. Large pin at a little over 2'' by 1.5''. Couple reinforcements on reverse and replaced clasp. Overall good condition and quite attractive. Many believe that the Etruscan goldsmiths learned the basic technique of granulation from the Phoenicians, but all agree that the Etruscans took this technique to new heights of excellence and delicacy through extreme miniaturization. Granulation refers to the side by side application of tiny beads of gold. Twisted, or ''corded'' gold wirework was also applied to jewels in the Etruscan style. To this day, modern jewelers have been unable to duplicate the skill and precision of these ancient craftsmen. Despite its magnificence, Etruscan jewelry was largely forgotten until the early 1800s when hoards of Etruscan jewelry were discovered in tombs on the outskirts of Rome. These discoveries of the 1830s, as well as treasures from other ancient civilizations being unearthed at that time, sparked an enthusiasm for ''archeological style'' jewelry. This craze for revivalism peaked during the 1860s to 1870s, though many fine examples continued to be made for as long as 40 years after that. A beautiful opal and 14k gold ring. Marked ''Peacock'' and 14K on the band. Certainly signed band for a reason this is a gourgeous band worth of a signature. The cabochon opal is fiery and an old stone that really has some pop to it. It does have a chip that is hard to see because of the fire though. Circa 1900 and a six 6.
