RARE diminutive American Federal period server circa 1810, probably made in Boston. Bow front and turned legs, after a Sheraton design. It measures 38.75 inches wide, 30.5 inches high, 19 inches deep at the sides and 21.5 inches deep at the center. It retains its original brasses. We had the secondary wood lab tested and found it to be white pine and beech, proving beyond any doubt its origin is American, not English. Shipping extra. Connecticut residents and buyers picking up in Connecticut add 6.35% state sales tax. Buyers outside the USA are responsible for any taxes, tariffs or customs that might apply. « Less

An unusual 1940’s vintage Everlast “Falling Leaves†serving cart or bar cart in hand-forged aluminum, signed by Everlast Metal Products Corporation of New More »
An unusual 1940’s vintage Everlast “Falling Leaves†serving cart or bar cart in hand-forged aluminum, signed by Everlast Metal Products Corporation of New York City. According to the Henry Ford Museum, Everlast collaborated with industrial designer Russel Wright in the early 1940’s, and this “Falling Leaves†pattern was designed by Wright’s wife, Mary. This two-tier rolling cart is ornamented with an incised leaf design on a hammered background, and comes with its original serving dishes as shown. The cart is very well constructed – heavy enough to be durable, and light enough to move easily. This cart measures 43†long overall, 19-3/4†wide, and 32-1/2†tall.
