For Sale is an Arts and Crafts style Desk lamp with a wonderful decorated Quezal Art Glass Shade. The Table Lamp is a nice size for the desk. It stands 22 1/4" tall to the top of the ring and can reach as far as 13" fully extended with shade in fitter. It has a 2 1/4" Fitter Cup with all 3 original Screws to hold the Quezal Art Glass Shade.
The Table Displays a wonderful Arts + Crafts style. The entire lamp base is made of Solid Brass and has a cast Iron weight in the bottom to give it much weight and stability. This will allow for the arm to be fully extended with the Art Glass Shade installed. This lamp will not tip over. The Base has a wonderfully aged original Bronzed Patina. This is a really neat table lamp. You can adjust the shade in different positions horizontally as well as cocking and pointing the shade. You do this by turning the knob on the Flat Turn Key Switch side and you can slide the Arm left to right and vice versa. You can also adjust the Height vertically as well. You simply turn the opposite side turn knob and you can achieve the perfect height. There is even a solid brass carrying loop on the top stem. This makes it easy to move the lamp around the desk. You can also turn the shade a full 360 degrees by holding the base and turning the top loop after you loosen the turn knob opposite of the flat turn key in the socket side.
The Shade is absolutely Beautiful. It is made by The Quezal Glass Company of Maspeth (Queens) New York. It is called a Green Feather Pull. The shade itself is a nice size as it stands 4 1/4" tall and is 4 1/4" in diameter at its widest point. This is a 4 step art glass shade. The first is a beautiful Gold Aurene Interior with a cased Calcite White background exterior. Then you have a very beautiful Green Feather Pull that is outlined in Gold Favrile Aurene along the entire edge. There are 10 ruffles at the shade's Flower end. The Shade is an excellent example as there are no cracks, nick chips or dings. It has a wonderfully rolled fitter edge. The Shade is signed "Quezal" in a silvered mark along the inside top rim.
The Lamp Base is considered to be in very good condition. It does shows signs of wear common with it age. It fully works the way it was intended too as I rewired it and tested it. The Base is unsigned and I have shown a picture of the bottom. The Flat Turn key is marked with the letter "F" and the socket exterior is marked "General Electric Co". It has a signed 2 1/4 Fitter that holds the shade and is marked "Pat'd Feb 23' 04". The lamp base is 100% original with the exception of the Antique Style Brown Rayon Cord. Even the Plug on this is Vintage. The interior turn key may have been replaced but it was done with a vintage part. Quality Vintage Art Glass Table Lamps with all original parts are becoming harder and harder to find. I'm positive the buyer will be quite please with their purchase.
The Lamp was made Circa 1914-1910 based on the socket exterior. It would look outstanding on the Stickley Arts and Crafts Style Desk!! « Less

For Sale is an Arts and Crafts style leaded glass table lamp made in the Tiffany Studios tradition. The Desk lamp is made by Lamb Bros & Greene of Nappanee, Indiana. The lamp is a nice size for a desk as it stands 22 1/2" tall to the top of the finial and the shade has a diameter of 16 1/2".
The shade displays a wonderful Arts + Crafts style of Stylized Leaves amongst a Geometric Pattern. The shade has nice warm colors as it has deep honey background with beige accents along with yellow diamonds and forest green for leaves. The design is very much Arts & Crafts in Style and has a nice balance to it. The shade rest on a two light base in the French bronze color. There are two round ball pull chain sockets that have been fully tested and work wonderful. The entire lamp base is made of Solid Brass with a Bronze Patina and has a cast Iron weight in the bottom to give it much weight and stability. The base actually resembles a Unique Lamp Company lamp Base. Unique was out of New York and pre-dated Lamp Bros & Green's production. It looks just like their Periwinkle Base and can often be confused. The main difference is the Lamp Bros base is weighted or loaded with a large weight and the Unique Base is not. The Cap mounting hardware is different as well.
This Table Lamp screams Arts and Crafts the whole way. The shade and base are considered to be in excellent condition. The base is very clean and has a few dings and scratches but nothing obtrusive. The bottom of the base has felt along the bottom to protect your furniture. The shade is excellent condition as well. There is only 1 tight hairline in a yellow diamond. This is pictured and hard to see. The shade and the base are unsigned but this is a documented base and shade combo made by Lamb Bros & Green. The two sockets are signed with the letter "E" along with an arrow through it for the "Arrow Electric Company" and 250 Volts / 250 Watts. It has been professionally re-wired with the Antique Style brown rayon cord and it still retains its original lamp plug. Lamps like this just don't get any better.
The Lamp was made Circa 1910-1925. This is a quality lamp that will surely enhance and Arts and Crafts, Mission Style home. It would look outstanding on a Stickley Arts and Crafts Style Desk or Table!!

For Sale is a bronze table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This is called a "Red Enameled Art Deco" Table Lamp and it is done in Tiffany's Studios most sought after Red Enameling. This base uses a 7" Art Glass Damascene style art glass shade. The Bronze Lamp Base stands 14 1/4" tall to the top of the turn switch and the bottom of the base is 4 7/8" square. It has a diameter of 7" with the Shade Attached.
This Table Lamp was part of Tiffany's Desk Set Fancy Goods line called "Art Deco". This Enameled Table lamp displays a wonderful and rich naturally aged dark Gold (Dore') Patina. This is one of the most desired finishes in the Tiffany Patina's. The Base displays a square foot with 4 Bun styled Feet an a Red Enameled rectangular border running along the edge. In the corners are a Circle within a circle and there is a lighter shade of enameling inside the relief. Inside of this geometric border and closer to the stem is another border that surrounds the stem with geometric shapes. These are also done in the Red Enamel. The low relief area mirroring this area is accented with Black Enameling. The top of the Lamp Pivots forward and backwards so you can point the light in the direction needed. The Switch is on the top of the Fitter Cap and you have to turn it 2 clicks in order to work. The inside socket appears to be a more recent make but it still retains its original switch and locking ring on the top. The shade is held with an after market Tiffany Style Heat Cap complete with 3 Screws with Ball ends.
The Base is fitted with a 7" Gold Damascene Style Art Glass Shade. The exterior of the shade has wavy bands of Gold Iridescence against a Calcite White body surrounding the entire shade flowing on an angle from the top to the bottom. The brilliant Gold Iridescence with highlights of Fuchsia running across the grain gives this shade that Tiffany Favrile Damascene appearance. The Shade when lit has a wonderful wave pattern effect when held to the light. The entire gold exterior of the shade has an iridescent or Luster Metallic look, yet it is ever so fragile glass. The shade has a wonderful translucent white liner similar to L.C.T. Tiffany's cased interior. When the shade is unlit you can see beautiful hues of Gold's, and Fuchsia in the iridescent finish.
This Red Enameled Art Deco Table Lamp is considered to be in very good conditions and shows normal signs of use. There are no cracks, nicks or dings to the base or shade. There is some white Paint on the column and there is minor enamel loss to 2 of the Red Geometric patterns. These are on the cord or back side of the Base and cannot be seen when displayed. There is also some loss to the black enameling but it is minor. The bottom side of the base shows more wear to the Base than any other part. It is signed on the bottom of the base "Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces, Inc." along with the base number "369". There is also the Tiffany Favrile Logo impressed about the signature mark. There are also the numbers "3212" lightly scratched under the base model number and more than likely was a special order number. The heat cap is of contemporary make but looks just like an original. The base has been rewired with gold rayon antique style lamp cord and it still retains its original antique plug.
The shade is of Contemporary make and is also in excellent condition. There are no cracks, flea nicks, or dings. The Shade is a very nice example. It is thin and similar to the Vintage ones. The Shade is Signed on the inside fitter neck "Lundberg Studios 2013" in a script etched signature.
This is a quality original Tiffany Studios Bronze Enameled Base with a contemporary Art Glass shade. The asking price is quite reasonable and affordable. If the Shade were an original Tiffany Favrile you would be looking at $6000-$8,000 for the entire lamp. Here is your chance to own a similar looking one for less than half of that price.
The Base is Guaranteed Original and is later in the Tiffany Production based on the signature mark. I would say this Tiffany Studios Original Base was made, Circa 1918-1925.
