Pair of Antique Lightolier Shade Pewter Finish Sconces Circa 1920
Very nice pair of circa 1920s wall sconces. The gorgeous quality shades are Lightolier, and are custard color with the decal design so typical of shades from them. The lovely shaped drop-in shades are simply so unique both as to shape and decor. They even have a slight iridescence to them. Being original shades that are nearly 90 years old, there are some minor NEVER SEEN flakes where the shades are slipped into the fitters.
The backplates are normal cast metal, with a lovely pewter finish. The castings are crisp, and obvious of very fine quality.
Measurements:
* Height: 9 ½" overall.
* Width: 4 ¾"
* Projection: 5 ¼" from the wall into the room.
These sconces have been completely rewired in our UL shop with new sockets, which are UL approved for up to 100 watts each. Also installed are new rotary switches (which are identical to the 1920's types). Everything here, both shades and backplates, are original. The mounting nut in the center of the backplate is an exact reproduction, since the originals were missing when we received the sconces. Very minor indeed. A full wall mounting kit will be provided.
Price: $434.50 plus a normal safe shipping charge.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and International Customers: We gladly ship our listings to customers worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated and invoiced separately on a per-order basis. Solid Brass/Bronze Antique-Finished Crystal Figural Chandelier
Circa 1920-40. The design motifs are plentiful and well-executed.
The castings are nice. The finish does have normal antiqued/aged variations, and is predominantly an antiqued brass/bronze color.
This is a French fixture. We replaced the sockets with American standard medium base (normal) sockets, and made the canopy work with our UL type ceiling boxes. There are medium base sockets in each of the four arms, and one socket in the center of the crystals.
This chandelier was totally re-wired in our UL registered shop, which included those new sockets and a new main stem wire.
Measurements:
* Height: 28"
* Diameter: 19"
This chandelier can be lengthened, but hard to shorten it with the center design. Please contact us for a quote.
A full mounting kit will be supplied.
For this complete, UL re-wired five-light figural chandelier with crystal drops: $2,475.00 plus careful packaging and freight shipping.
Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one! « Less

Traditional Brass/Bronze Hall or Landing or Corridor Light
Outstanding American-made hall light circa 1920.
Simply quality and simplicity, this light is brass/bronze construction with a single center light. Each light does have some MINOR condition issues commensurate with their age...but nothing that should bother the antique-affectional individual.
What is not so apparent in the pictures is the BEVELED glass panels on all four sides. Simply quality looking. We debated whether to glass-bead blast the four beveled glass panels to give them a frosted look...but decided, perhaps, the customer should think about this, so we do offer it as an option.
Measurements:
* Height: 37"
* Width: 15" (maximum)
Height can be increased by special request. Please contact us for pricing.
Electrical: This hall light has been totally re-wired in our UL shop. A new normal socket for everyday medium base bulb was installed.
We do have THREE of these lights...taken from a lovely connecting upscale hallway, but are offering them each, which is a more normal usage. But if you need more than one...we will restore the other two. Only this pictured one was restored for this offering.
All mounting hardware will be supplied.
For one complete hall light as shown: $935.00 plus careful packaging and shipping.
$50.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Edwardian Pewter & Brass Ceiling Bowl with Four Drop Shades
Pretty nice to find an unusual light with shades, still in this nice condition. Yes, there are parts that show minor marks of age-related living, but for the most part...this is an exceptional example of lighting with original shades.
Normally these lights have opal white or simple frosted shades...but here we see a raised design near the neck with a gentle muted frosted shade below.
Circa 1910-20, it has been restored to fine condition, and as can be seen, makes a great statement as to the antiquity of the light.
For the photographs, we used low wattage bulbs to take the pictures so the automatic lens would not be blown-out by the strong light. Naturally, when you place normal bulbs into this chandelier, the shades will glow nicely and much more warmly.
Measurements:
* Height: 26"
* Diameter: 22" (measured shade-tip to shade-tip)
This chandelier has been completely re-wired with new sockets and all new wire in our UL listed workshop.
$984.50 for the complete chandelier with shades...having been completely restored and re-wired and ready to hang...plus careful packaging and shipping.
$50.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Magnificent Large Ballroom Chandelier
Large and important, bright brass-finished and crystal, monumental chandelier for an outstanding bargain price.
Please note the hand-cut 12 crystal shades with pattern...not just cheap candletubes. That, together with all those wonderful crystals, make this an outstanding offering.
Real power crystal lighting...not just a bulb or two...but 27 bulbs for a great and impressive appearance. This monumental chandelier has been totally rewired in our UL listed workshop, with all new American sockets of medium base bulb size.
Lighting: There is a total of 27 bulbs in this beauty with the following distribution: 8 shaded bulbs on the outside largest rim with shades. 4 shaded bulbs on the outside upper rim with shades. In the center of this largest rim, there are a further 9 sockets (pointing up and down). On the smaller upper rim there are 6 sockets. A total of 27 medium base everyday sockets.
Measurements:
* Height: 73" overall.
* Diameter: 44"
Clearly meant for a very large room! Naturally, it can be lengthened, but shortening will require some engineering. Please contact us for more information & pricing.
Price: $3,795.00 for the complete restored ballroom light. The new cost was rumored to be 8 to 10K. We, however, are just looking for a fair return on our UL shop time and effort. There is only ONE of these.
Shipping: Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one! Free on-site pick up...but crating and handling will be assessed by destination and carriage type. Crating estimate is under $350. Building a crate for this wonderful chandelier is more like building a garden shed. We can use FedEx truck freight for a good rate, which again, is based on destination. « Less

Large Edwardian Solid Brass Double Arm Sconces
If a need is for a LARGE pair of impressive, solid brass sconces...this just could be the pair that appeals.
Original solid brass construction, they have been completely rewired for UL certification in our UL lamp shop. Each new socket can accept a 100 watt incandescent bulb.
The metal finish is antiqued brass with a plethora of designs. Considering designs...one tiny design element is now missing. Please note the small red arrow in one of the pictures. It points to the small leaf design that got lost at some time in these sconces' history. Not very noticeable at all...since it is behind the shade...and near the wall...but worth mentioning. They are antiques after all.
These sconces are supplied with the original antique shades, as shown, which dates these sconces around the turn of the century i.e 1920.
These sconces are ready to hang with an American standard light mounting kit, which we will supply.
Measurements:
* Height: 15"
* Width: 10 ½"
* Projection: 10" from the wall into the room.
Price: $1,375.00 for this LARGE PAIR of UL rewired Edwardian sconces...plus shipping charges.

Pair of Antique Two-Arm Wall Sconces Circa 1920s
Wonderful pair of matching 1920s to Art Deco sconces.
The backplates are cast iron with a lovely pewter patina. The center section has a variation of the hammered effect pattern, but is more stylized. Note too, that the first level of the fitter for the shades matches the arm pattern. A striking design which would work with so many decorative motifs like: Arts & Crafts; Gothic; Deco; and even a 20s look.
The shades are tall textured opal glass cylinders. Very minor roughness in a very few places...but not really noticeable. The shades are taller than normal, so we would suggest the use of T10 tube bulbs to light more of the length of the shade. Normal medium base sockets have been installed.
Measurements:
* Height: 13"
* Width: 6" (at the backplate)
* Projection: 3 ½" from the wall into the room.
Completely rewired to UL standards in our UL shop with new medium base sockets. A rotary switch has been installed in each sconce.
Price: $522.50 for this pair of unique sconces with shades...complete with mounting hardware. Shipping is extra.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

A very outstanding chandelier which has been brought up to modern standards and design by updating the old, inefficient wiring system to modern standards.
Upgrades More »
A very outstanding chandelier which has been brought up to modern standards and design by updating the old, inefficient wiring system to modern standards.
Upgrades include:
1.) The column is now lit with 6 LED dimmable tubes, which makes the original amber glass panels pop with vibrance and color. All SIX dimmable LED tubes will be INCLUDED with this sale. And...to make sure that the dimmable application works properly, we will include a NEW LED dimmer switch to use with this chandelier. Old incandescent dimmer switches do NOT work with LEDs. Incandescent dimmers produce electronic noise, which causes LEDs to blink or burn out...or not work at all.
2.) New medium base sockets were installed for the bottom bowl, so the glass there also has a real presence. We recommend dimmable LEDs to work with your new dimmer switch included in this sale.
3.) We also replaced the six arm sockets with medium base sockets for modern bulbs. Again...recommend LED bulbs to work with your new included dimmer switch.
Look at the beauty of this chandelier. Old gold gilt-finished metal mix with darkened portions. Amber stippled glass to the center and bowl, now highlighted with the new lamping. Accenting reddish intersections between the amber leaded glass. With a six arm array using frosted flame shades. If you would like...we could put a semi-transparent yellowish coating on the shades to match the amber glass, but that is a personal choice. The existing frosted finish does give a bit more light.
Measurements:
* Overall Height: 51" as is.
* Overall Diameter: 38"
Overall height can be extended by special request. Please contact us for pricing.
Wattage: The 12 medium base sockets can accept either incandescent or LED bulbs. We would recommend LED bulbs for less heat and longer life, since the bowl must be taken down for bulb changing. Do not use the twisty CFL bulbs...they can produce electronic noise which can negatively affect LEDs. Since we have re-designed the internal wiring and re-wired the chandelier in our UL shop, it is totally UL approved.
Price: $5,335.00 which includes all the shades & 6 LED tubes for the center section & a recommended LED dimmer switch to be used with this fixture. A freight shipping charge must be added based on distance/location.
Crating & Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one! « Less

For your consideration is a 1970's Chapman solid brass rams horn chandelier. This is the second one that we have the privilege of offering on eBay. This is a heavy, quality chandelier constructed of solid brass. The person we bought this from told us a woman at Chapman's confirmed that this lamp was indeed manufactured by Chapman in a telephone conversation. Having said that, I will still have to let the more knowledgeable decide because of my own lack of knowledge and the difficulty of dealing with dealers who are patriotic to their piece. The chandelier features five heavily detailed rams horns each supporting a bobeche and candelabra. It is very impressive in design as well as size, weighing approximately 51 pounds. The chandelier is approximately 22" high and 23" across.
Condition: Cosmetically this lamp looks to be in excellent condition to me with extremely minute wear on the uppermost ring where the chain attaches. The chandelier was wired and working while displayed in an antique mall. I do not have the shades or light bulbs. Please disregard the dark areas on the ram horn arms. Those are shadows created during photography and not discoloration or damage.
According to one online site, "The chandelier is highly sought after and seldom found for sale online for long." I looked at several sites before finding one still available so that may have some truth to it.
