ANT-535 Solid Brass and Bronze 10 Light Gothic Crystal Chandelier
Gothic elegance is here with this wonderful crystal ten light chandelier.
Circa 1920, the design motifs are plentiful and well executed.
The castings are so beautiful, with lots of pierced parts which are...were...so hard to do, as any casting man will tell you.
The finish does have some minor variations, and is predominantly dark with highlights.
There are faces, and curls, and Gothic motifs. A plethora of design in this exciting ten light chandelier.
Measurements:
* Height: 37 ½" It can be lengthened, but hard to shorten it with the center design the way it is...could be done...but not easily.
* Diameter: 28"
This light has been totally rewired in our UL registered shop, with ten new sockets, and a new main stem wire.
A full mounting kit will be supplied...so nothing more to buy...except light bulbs.
For this complete, UL re-wired ten light Gothic chandelier with crystal drops: $2,915.00 plus careful packaging and Freight Shipping (due to the fragility of this item).
Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. This will be credited towards the overall shipping cost. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one!

ANT-542 Gothic or Arts and Crafts Style Panel Ceiling Light Hexagonal Older Gothic Lighting Fixture
Circa 1920 - 1940, the frosted glass panels are in great shape.
The Old Gold finished frame is in nice condition, with just the right amount of patina.
Measurements:
* Diameter: 20" across the points.
* Height: 29"
If the 29" height is too tall for your application...we can shorten this fixture for you. The stem is easily adjusted. We could achieve a height range between 14" to the existing 29". You tell us what you need.
Each fixture contains FIVE light bulbs. Four sockets light the side panels, and one socket is directed downward to light the bottom crackle glass window and add a little extra emphasis to the smaller side windows. The very bottom window, which is actually an access door for bulb changing, contains a different glass than the side panels. It is an old glass which is meant to direct more lighting downwards, while the four other sockets give indirect upward and side panel lighting.
This chandelier has been re-wired in our UL shop, and is ready for installation.
Price: $605.00 for the completely re-wired UL approved antique panel chandelier in great condition, plus Freight Shipping costs (due to the fragility of this item).
Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one!

ANT-547 Remarkable and Lovely Angelic Cupid Double Pendant
This pendant has been rewired in our UL shop, and it is simply lovely. These angel/cupid pendant chandeliers come up every once in a while...some with glass shades...some with crystal drops, but rarely...with a Rococo frame containing an internal amber glass cylinder. In fact, it is the first one we have had like this.
Makes powering this pendant up a pleasure, not having to look at a bare light bulb behind a few crystals. Rather a special case with a great result.
This is a special fixture for more than one reason. We have never ceased to be amazed by the rendition of faces of cupids and angels when cast for lighting. Some look stern...some insipid, and others just plain unrealistic. We were pleased to look upon the face of this fixture. A really talented sculptor did this one with a resulting pleasant countenance.
Measurements:
* Width: 11 ½"
* Height: 17" at present, but can be made longer by adding chain. Please contact us for pricing.
A full mounting kit will be provided, so there will be nothing else to buy except the light bulbs of your choice.
Price: $1,375.00 for the completely re-wired, UL approved angelic pendant...in great condition.

ANT-548 Lovely Pair of 1920 Edwardian Wall Sconces
Lovely pair of Circa 1920 wall sconces.
Original antique sconces, with original Art Glass antique shades.
These sconces have a lovely Edwardian pewter look, and a great design that is so typical of the Edwardian style.
The original antique shades are also so very nice. They are an ivory color, with clear applied art glass touches to each side. A nice combination indeed!
The backplates are cast metal, with a lovely pewter finish.
Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. We suggest a tubular S-10 bulb, which is the same kind of tubular bulb often used in desk lamps. It gives a balanced light for this longer shade.
Measurements:
* Height: 8 ¾"
* Width: 4 ½" (shade)
* Projection: 4 ¾" from the wall into the room.
These sconces have been completely rewired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, which were originally made by Leviton in the 20's.
Price for the pair: $434.50 plus careful packing and shipping.

Silverized Old Brass/Bronze LARGE Figural Peacock Sconce
Sometimes, its just a bit difficult to describe a unique object to sufficient clarity. This item just might qualify.
Made as a total "look-at-me" item, it is a wonderful French casting of a peacock with a remarkable cast tail. The tail has five light sockets for emphasis, and perhaps even could be used as an outstanding mood or night light for a large room.
There is only one.
When this item came to us, it had old fashioned English circa 1920s sockets in it for bayonet pin bulbs. This simply would not do. So...we gutted the electrical sockets, and installed American chandelier sockets inside the original mountings to take American candelabra bulbs. This was accomplished in our UL shop, so the utmost care is assured. However...normal light bulbs would put a point of light right into your face, and that wouldn't do either. So we installed mirror top bulbs, which direct light out to the sides at 180°, and projects none of the light into your face. These bulbs are called Silver Crown Globes, and are made by Satco (stock numbered S3246). We think this bulb gives an outstanding effect. We will supply these bulbs, as pictured, with the light.
The castings are outstanding. As you can tell from the picture taken with Michael (of our UL shop), the sconce is quite large.
The finish is the old fashioned silverizing, which was so popular with the British and Art Nouveau markets.
Measurements:
* Height: 22"
* Width: 18 ½"
French and British lighting did not use American electrical boxes, so this sconce was never designed for it. To make it screw into an American electrical box, we would have to drill a mounting hole through the tail-fan, and we simply could not bring ourselves to this. So...we left the French mounting loop on the back. The mounting will be by this loop from a substantial hooking device you install. It is a heavy sconce, so the hanging device should be mounted into a strut or beam behind your drywall. Our idea would be to place the center of the figure over an electrical box for the electrical connections, and then calculate the best place to put the loop.
But...a second option does exist. This could also be created as a table display with the addition of a backing stand of some reliable type. Whichever way it is used...it is truly unique and wonderful, and will be a strong conversation piece without doubt.
$2,035.00 for this complete, UL re-wired Unique Peacock Silverized Bronze Sconce, plus careful packaging and shipping.
$50.00 for careful packing and Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

Beautiful pair of Kwan Yin porcelain lamps. After doing some research I believe the lamps are Chinese porcelain, considered blanc de chine, circa mid 20th century with a celadon glaze. What I was unable to find was a pair with the lattice type wood backing. This lattice style is also found on the wood bases. I believe the shades are handmade. Each lamp has a different style of finial; not sure if either is one is original. Price does not include actual shipping and handling.
Each lamp has the same approximate measurements:
Height with shade: 32".
Height of Kwan Yin: 19".
Wood backing: 20-1/4" tall and 7" wide.
Wood base: 7".
Each lampshade has the same approximate measurements:
19" wide and 13" tall.
Condition:
Lamps: One lamp has a piece broken off one of the flowers. The other lamp has a teeny-tiny fleabite chip on the edge of one flower. If I had not felt it, I would not have noticed it. There are no hairlines or cracks, however there is some light crazing. One lamp looks to have its original wiring and the other one may have been rewired due to its clear cord. Both lamps are in working condition.
Lampshades: There are a few places on the bottom edge of both shades that have wear or worn through to the lamp frame. « Less
