Dull gilt decoration. Vent hole to underside and reverse. Similar piece illustrated figure 1143, page 312, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 1, by A.& N. Harding. Good. No cracks. Flake to ground between ankles, another to lower lip and some small flakes around the lower base edge. A few paint losses to scarf and one shoe. Some rubbing to gilt.
