Extra fine Renaissance Revival marble topped sideboard. Absolutely top quality design and cabinetry with beautiful, intricately incised burled paneled doors, interior panels and sides. Inlaid leaves on the center drawer, Gothic carvings on the small drawers and door panels and finished interior. Original fancy double throw lock and working keys. American black walnut and burl. Magnificent French provincial hand made solid walnut menager, or dresser, from Brittany, c1900. This vintage country French menager will be the focal point of a dining room or family kitchen. Absolutely the highest quality. The drawers have large handcut dovetails and the drawer fronts have deeply carved moldings. The base is 74 inches wide by 23 inches deep and is 46 inches to the surface. The top is 74 inches wide by 12 inches deep and 59 inches to the top. The total height is 105 inches, or 8 feet 9 inches. The backboard fabric can easily be changed. This piece is on display in our gallery at Clock TowerAntiques Center and can be seen in-person by visiting 824 E Main Street Branford,CT06405. Period Antique American Federal Sideboard, this Period American "Hepplewhite sideboard" dates from the late 18th to very early 19 century and is a rare size at 54 inches wide and 24 inches deep and 39 and three quarter inches high. This sideboard is in mint condition with an old warm finish. There is a fine line inlay down its long tapered legs and inset inlay around the edge of its single board mahogany top. Constructed from mahogany,secondary wood is pine set with hand made rose head nails and the drawers have wide hand cut dovetails and thick hand chamfered drawer bottoms. The hardware has been replace with good period reproductions which is quite normal. This is the first sideboard this size we have been able to offer for sale in our 30 years of selling fine period antiques. Just in from at Connecticut estate.   « Less

We have for sale an antique etagere buffet server cabinet. The cabinet has a top that has six beveled mirrors with shelf's on the sides. The grey and white marble top is in great condition with no cracks or chips. The base has six dovetail drawers and two doors on each side that opens to storage area. It is on its original casters. We are not for sure what kind of wood it is. It may be gum. We found 1111V carved on top of cabinet where the marble sits. The marble is black and white with a chip on the corner. On each side of cabinet is a towel bar. The base has two doors that opens to storage area. The cabinet is very sturdy and solid.
