A true high-end quality, original, cast iron, antique frame with a lovely reddish bronzed finish. Circa 1935. This Art Deco slip shade chandelier was top-of-the-line for this series of Art Deco lighting using this type of shade. The reddish-bronzed finish is simply superb. This fixture is in oh-so-near-mint condition. The shades are simply in fantastic condition. Measuring 27 1/2" tall, with a diameter of about 21 1/2" from shade tip to shade tip, this is truly a magnificent offering. The decor of this chandelier is simply stunning. If you have been holding back for that truly outstanding chandelier of this type, we believe that this might be it. To make it better, please note that this antique fixture has been completely re-wired with all new sockets, new wire, and is ready to hang. Unique is the fact that this chandelier has a three way switch. Since the center has a socket, it can be lighted separately to use as a low level ambiance or as a night light. Then a rotary turn to the next position lights up 2 of the outside shades while the third turn lights everything. Note also that the center glass has a beveled top edge that picks up the light nicely. Antique Embossed Floral Shade Ceiling Bowl Light Fixture Nice embossed shade ceiling light with two sockets. Perfect for a smaller room, or in a dining room over a table. The opal glass shade is simply gorgeous with embossed floral décor. Very nicely done, as the pictures will show. Probably a product of Consolidated glass or one of the other up-scale US manufacturers. The fixture is brass, and has a lovely antique patina. Measurements: * Height: 11" * Diameter: 12", the shade's overall diameter. The shade is lit by two standard sockets, each capable of accepting a 100 watt light bulb, giving a nice 200 watts of total light. We did not power it up for pictures, as too strong of bulb blows out the focus of our camera lens. We always use small 25 watt or lower bulbs in our pictures so the detail of the light fixture itself is revealed. This wonderful light has been rewired in our UL approved lamp shop to UL standards. Original antique sconces with the original antique brass finish. The shades are really quite lovely. They are beautiful Bohemian cobalt blue overlay crystal with a hand cut design. Simply elegant, and quality to the maximum. With a strong bulb, they give an ambiance that is quite lovely with the sparkle of the cut crystal. Add to the shades the nice crystal drops, and we have a simply lovely and elegant pair of sconces. Not easy to find quality like this. We took our picture with a mere 15 watt bulb so the camera lens would focus on the entire sconce and shade detail...not get blown out by too strong of bulb. These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with all new sockets and new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and were still made up to ONE year ago. So these switches by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this. Very neat shell motif pair of British theatre style sconces. These sconces are often called “Odeon Sconces,” since main movie house chains in Britain named all of their theatres “Odeon”. In fact...it sometimes is a synonymous term for a movie theatre when in Britain. These sconces had frosted, amber and even pink tinted shades around the turn of the century. In older British theaters, you can still see them existing where they have been for over half a century or more. This particular pair is a more recent manufacturer, but still retains the ambiance and magic of the very earliest types. We have re-wired these sconces to updated UL standards with new medium base sockets, switches, and wiring. These are ready to hang with an American standard light mounting kit, which we will supply. Measurements: 9” tall to the bottom of the switch, with a width of 10 1/2”. Protrudes a mere 4” into the room. Measures a mere 10” in overall height, while it has a diameter of 11 1/2”, which is the metal shade’s diameter. It is lit by a single standard socket within that will accept a 100 watt light bulb. Very nicely done, as the pictures will show. We completely re-wired this wonderful light to UL standards. Stunning antique five-light figural cast iron chandelier with original polychrome finish, dating from the early 1900s. This fixture begins in a simple canopy with twisted trim. It comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial with two stylized dolphins. A central twisted rod rests in a hammered lower bowl and is surrounded by intricate iron bands ornamented with scrolling foliage. Five foliate chandelier arms reach out from the chandelier's base, each supporting a bobeche with crimped edges. The fixture finishes in a double volute finial. This chandelier is in excellent condition and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 20" wide, 18-1/2" tall, and 33" long overall.   « Less

So nice to be able to offer another really nice light to you. Here we have one of the scarce lights of the deco era from Mid West MFG. This is the 5 light Soleure chandelier. Mid West only made the best quality lighting. This chandelier is solid bronze with a great original finish. The castings are so beautiful as well, with lots of pierced parts which are...were...so hard to do, as any casting man will tell you. The finish does have some minor flakes and thinning but it also has a nice mellow appearance and most antiquers would not touch this lovely aged finish. This light has been totally re-wired as well, with five new sockets and a new main stem wire. The drop of this light now is 30 inches, and it has a diameter of about 20 inches.....shade tip to shade tip. The ceiling canopy measures about 7 inches in diameter. The five shades are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and they all match each other very well. Measurements: Overall height is 30"; overall diameter is 20".
