Really quite lovely. Ahh...the French....they sure did like their gorgeous amounts of design and elaboration.
Here we have a fine chandelier that has elements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco together in one lovely fixture. Circa 1900-1910, it is truly a lovely chandelier.
The shades are really quite unique. Heavy cast glass with heavy embossed designs. They are a deep shaded amber color, which is very earthy when not alight. With a strong bulb, they give an ambiance that is quite antique. We took our picture with a low output 15 watt bulb, so the camera would focus on the light and shade detail. A stronger bulb would have washed out the fine decorative elements of this fixture in our picture.
This chandelier have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new American sockets and all new wire. There are four normal sockets within the center bowl and each rim shade has a chandelier socket.
Measurements: The overall sconce height is 30 1/2â€. The maximum width (including the shades) is 26â€.
Price for the chandelier is “only†$1650.00, plus careful packing and shipping. I say “only†because if you have done some chandelier shopping elsewhere, you will know that some folks are asking upwards of $3,000 for a fixture of this type, and often, not as nice as this one. We’re more realistic and believe that fair pricing is best.
Buyer to pay for freight shipping, which will be invoiced separately after checkout. If you would like a freight quote before purchase, please send us an e-mail or call us at 360-379-9030 and we will be happy to provide one. « Less

Attributed to England circa 1895-1920.
The single-light lantern consists of a four sided box-like pierced metal frame holding inside panes of clear, amber, red, and purple stained pressed glass. No cracks at all in the four glass sides, which shows a real dedication to preservation by an up-scale series of owners.
The frame is made of cast metal that has been nickel plated. The top and bottom of the frame are encircled by a band of fanciful rococo-style pierced repoussé decorations. Decoration has foliate scrolls springing from the top and bottom corners of the frame. The lower scrolls support a pendant acorn, while the upper scrolls decorate the central pole with the hanging loop.
Note the plethora of classical figures, faces, and old world decor. Simply a feast of motif activity.
This hall lantern has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with a central new socket and new wire.
Measurements: The overall height is 26â€. If this height is too short for your project, we can add more chain for a custom height that is more appropriate to your needs. Please call 360-379-9030 for more information. The maximum width (including shade) is 6 1/2â€. The canopy is 4 1/2†in diameter.
Price is $895.00 plus $50.00 for careful packing and Ground shipping within the contiguous 48 states. Residents of Alaska/Hawaii and International Customers, please call 360-379-9030 for a shipping quote. « Less

Cast backplates with a pewter finish in a hammered affect design.
The shades are really quite interesting. Heavy cast glass with heavy embossed designs, they are a vibrant amber color. I have heard these shades being referred to as "Bully Deco," because of the heavy block and angular designs.
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. The sconces do not have switches but are hard wired to an electrical box for use with a wall switch.
Overall Measurements: The overall sconce height (including the shade) is 9 3/8". The maximum width (including the shade) is 4 1/2". It will project into the room from the wall 6 1/8".
Backplate measurements: 9" tall by 4 5/8" wide.
Price for the pair: $350.00 plus $20.00 for careful packing and Ground shipping.

These sconces are cast iron with a dark Oil Rubbed Bronze finish.
The custard shades are in very good condition and match the lines of the backplate quite well with their ribbed bottom and top.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed in each. The off/on switch is mounted onto the backplate and we kept the original knob while renewing the broken switch. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A very nice pair of American made sconces.
Measurements: 9 1/2" tall. The shade has a maximum diameter of 4 7/8", while the round part of the backplate has a diameter of 4 5/8 . Projects into a room from the wall at 5 3/4".
For the complete, re-wired pair of sconces, $325.00 plus $20.00 for careful Ground shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Probably French or of French influence, these six sconces nearly perfectly match, with only subtle differences.
The difference seems to be mainly that two of the sconces have slightly smaller bows at the top. This probably resulted from the original customer buying a set of four...and perhaps returning months, or years, later to buy another pair of sconces.
These sconces are solid brass with their original aged patina. They also have a polished metal backing so the reflection of the bulb is a bit magnified, which has a nice effect through the crystals.
Measurements: Each sconce is 10 3/4" tall by 6 1/2" wide. They project into a room a mere 3 1/2".
These lights have all been re-wired in our UL shop and are ready for installation. The french sockets were replaced with American candelabrum sockets, as well as new lead wires, so they are all ready to go with American style mounting supplied.
Price for the entire set of six: $1,395.00. Shipping is $50.00 for Ground service within the contiguous 48 states.

Really quite lovely. Here we have a fine chandelier that just demonstrates the variations of the Art Deco design in one lovely fixture. Circa 1920 - 1930, it is truly a lovely chandelier.
The shades are really quite unique. Heavy cast glass with heavy embossed designs.
This chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new American sockets and all new wire. There are three candelabrum sockets within the center bowl, so that light peeks out of the side windows and illuminates the bottom shade.
The five shades around the center bowl are also wired with American candelabrum sockets built inside the original French/British style B-22 pin socket housing. Kinda clever so we can use the original shades without any noticeable difference at all.
Measurements: The overall height is 36 1/2". The maximum width (including the shades) is 32".
Price for the chandelier is "only" $1,815.00 plus careful packing and shipping. I say "only" because if you have done some chandelier shopping elsewhere, you will know that some folks are asking upwards of $3,000 for a fixture of this type, and often, not as nice as this one. Buyer to pay for freight shipping due to the size and fragility of this fixture. This will be invoiced separately after checkout.

Nice pair of circa 1920 wall sconces. Original "hammered effect" oil rubbed dark finished sconces.
The metal of the backplates is cast metal. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. The sockets that are used are normal medium based sockets, so any decorative bulb made for a normal socket will work. We are using a common flame style bulb, which we will include with the hope that it makes the shipping without damage. These bulbs can be purchased at almost every light or big box store.
These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop, with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20's...and were still made up to ONE year ago. So these switches by Leviton are becoming even more rare as we note this.
Measurements: The overall sconce height is 10". It will project into the room from the wall 4". The backplate, by itself, measures: 8 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" wide.
Price for the complete pair: $295.00, plus $20.00 for careful packing and Ground shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

"Press Cut" is the term used for glassware that has both the pressing process and the cutting process used to create a neat item. In this case...the pressing is considered very sharp and could be confused quite easily for a cutting process.
The cutting process itself is on the shade of the light. The flower and some surrounding elements have been hand wheel cut for a very nice accent indeed.
A smaller lamp using our exclusive LED bulb, for which, replacements are easily available. We will include your first one with the light.
Re-wired in our UL shop using the original rebuilt socket that has a turn knob.
