Still in their original box from Murano, Venice, Italy. Decanter measures 24 cm high and 10.5 cm diameter (9.1/2 inches by 4.1/4 inches). Vase measures 23 cm high and about 21cm diameter (9 inches by 8.1/4 inches). The base shows signs of glue - the vase may have been glued to it at some stage. (Probably not a bad idea..). Due to the political situation he left in 1972 and set up the Isle of Wight Glass factory. Since 1981 the Mdina factory has been run by Joseph Said, one of the original apprentices, and is still producing high quality glass.
