This delightful pair of antique sconces, circa 1910, retains their original, beautifully aged silver plate over brass and pewter. These sconces feature a grooved, torch-shaped back plate, capped with a stylized pineapple finial. The graceful S-shaped sconce arms are fastened near the center of the back plates with honeysuckle-leaf appliqu s, and curve up to accept bobeches ornamented with floret, foliate, and volute details. Each pair of volutes on the bobeche frames its original gleaming icicle prism. The wall lamps have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. These are 4 wide, 13 tall and extend 7 from the wall. These eight matching, circa 1920's, classic Lincoln Co. iron sconces display exemplary casting. The upper part of the ornate back plate showcases a loop-style cutout, which is bordered in decorative beads. Above the loop is a cast floret surrounded by foliage, which runs down either side. The uniquely shaped back plate is raised in the center and lined with corresponding foliate details. The body of the back plate displays faux hammering, cast curls, and florets, and finishes in a bottom cut-out styled loop, which is also beaded. Each of the two sconce arms are made of bent and curled iron bands, which are buttoned to the back plate with florets. The end of each arm supports a petal-cup bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These are 10 ¾” long, 8” wide and protrude 4 ½” from the wall. An almost identical pair of sconces is listed under item number NSP238-RW. This stylish pair of antique single-arm sconces dates to the 1920’s and would be a splendid addition to any Spanish Revival interior. The sconces are signed by their maker, the Riddle Company. They feature uniquely shaped back plates with foliate and berry accents and cast fleur-de-lis at the crest. Disc-shaped sconce arms spring from the upper portion of the back plates and are finished with gadrooned finials. The sconces retain their original floret sconce buttons. The wall lamps are in excellent condition and retain their original, beautifully aged finish. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a massive pair of iron three-arm sconces from the 1930’s, in their original, superbly aged, faded black finish. The round back plates feature scalloped edges, subtle foliate details, and are accented with square rivets. Each arm curves up to accept its unusual stepped circular bobeche and ends in a hand-forged volute. These sconces would be a striking addition to any Gothic Revival, Spanish Revival, Tudor, or Old World decor. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. Skillfully cast and gadrooned sconce arms spring from the backs to support modest two part bobeches. The simplified fluidity of these sconces makes them suitable for multitude of the decors. This is a gorgeous pair of ca. 1910 single light sconces in their original, beautifully aged, finish. They have modest oval brass back plates. From the lower portion of the backs sprout finely cast pewter arms with gorgeous foliate and flower accents. Suspended from the sconce arms are intricately gadrooned shade holders with leafy detailing around the top. The sconces retain their original etched shades which have marvelously cast flower and foliate border toward the bottom of the shades. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass shades. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
