#5148. Outstanding Chic French wrought iron garden/patio set comprising of four very comfortable armchairs and one table with stone top. This is not the typical light , poor quality piece. This set is made out of heavy gauge , thick iron wire, all chairs are seats are complete not missing a single metal band or spring. Take a close look at the details and fancy decoration on the chairs and table base. The top of the table is a thick piece of stone that has some really great swirled colored patterns. Just add your cushions and enjoy!! CONDITION: Excellent shape, normal wear for age and use. Bid with confidence!! MEASURES: Each chair is 35 1/2" HIGH X 22 1/2" WIDE X 19 1/2" DEEP / Floor to seat 15" HIGH. Table is 26" DIAM. X 28" HIGH . Pair hand wrought Yale University dorm andirons c1900. This pair of andirons are reproductions of gooseneck andirons from the 18th century. The were hand made by a local blacksmith for Yale University in New Haven Connecticut to be used in one of their dorms. Late in the 20th century the fireplaces were no longer used and this pair along with others were sold. The Y symbol for Yale is impressed on the firedogs, or log rails.
