For sale I have a Beautiful piece of Carnival Glass made by The Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia. The shape is a Vase and the pattern is "Diamond Point". The Vase measures 8 3/4" tall and the mouth of the Vase is approximately 4 3/4" in diameter. The Base of the Vase measures approximately 3 1/4" wide. The Vase depicts Diamonds placed in diagonal Fashion from theTop to the Bottom of the Vase. Each of thes Diamonds are in Raised Relief with 4 Facets or Angles similar to a Pyramid. The top one inch of the Vase is almost molded like Leaves to form 12 rounded tips. The color of this Beauty is Amethyst. The brilliant iridescence on this Vase is almost Electric and you can see strong hues of Gold, Fuchsia, Teal and Blue. The piece Sparkles because of the High Relief pattern "cuts". The Vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The piece is signed with Northwood's N in a Circle underlined although it is very faint. For sale I have a Beautiful piece of Carnival Glass made by The Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia. The shape is a Vase and the pattern is "Diamond Point". The Vase measures 10 1/2" tall and the mouth of the Vase is 3 7/8" in diameter. The Base of the Vase measures approximately 3 1/2" wide. For sale I have a beautiful Milky White Opalescent Glass Vase made by The Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia. The Vase is handmade. The piece is rather tall at 10 7/8" and is the opening is approximately 4 1/4" in Diameter. The base has a diameter of 3 3/8". This is either Northwood's White Opalescent Glass or Opal Milk Glass. The pattern name is "Tree Trunk" and it dates from 1907-1908. You see this style in Tree Trunk on Ebay all the time but it doesn;t have the Northwood Mark. Realize many companies copied each other as there was no good trademark control. This piece is an Authentic piece of Northwood. The piece is in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. This is the perfect size for some beautiful Flowers. The piece is signed on the bottom with Northwood's N Underlined in a circle mark. This Vase is well documented as there is an example of it on page 149 of the Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass, the 4th Edition. You often find the values of these in Carnival Glass Reference books as this form was predominately made for the Carnival Glass Market. For sale I have an Original Glass Tile made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Tile is called a "Linenfold Tile" and it was used in Tiffany's Linenfold or Fabrique Shades. The Tile measures 2 7/8" long, 5/8" wide and is 1 /4" Tall. The Tile is somewhat a rectangular shape and the base glass is a translucent dark olive green. The Front or top side of the tile depicts a raised textured relief that resembles Curtains when hanging. The back side is smooth and has a crazing type texture. This tile was more than likely poured into a mold in sheet form and had to be individually cut out. This is an important restoration part for those of you who have a LC Tiffany Studios New York Table Linenfold, Fabrique Table or Floor Lamp and needs this piece for either the top or bottom of the shade that is broken or badly damaged. The Tile is considered to be in excellent condition as there is no damage to the face of the Tile or back Side. The edges are rough but they were cut out that way from the sheet.The tile is unsigned as is the case with these as they were used in the manufacturing process. This is the last of 6 Original Tiles I bought from a renown Tiffany Dealer from Michigan. He is no longer with us and he guaranteed these were original when I bought them so I will also guarantee them or a full refund will be given. He also told me that these were some of the most difficult tiles to find of all the Tiffany Tiles that were made. They were used in the manufacturing process and not sold individually. In the 1930's, New Martinsville made some beautiful, quality glass animals and bookends. Presented here are a pair of their #499 Clipper Ship Bookends, which were produced in 1938.Measuring approximately 5 3/4" in height and 4 3/4" in width, these bookends have a nice, substantial weight to them. The detail of the ships is extremely good and the glass is clear. Excellent condition!   « Less
