Small stove? Nautical theme? Stove on your yacht? This little tool kit is just what you need. Made of solid brass, it stands only 20" high. Looks to be assembled from three different kits! Who had three of these sets to make one?!?!
Ship on stand has full sail set downwind, with double anchors. Ship on shovel is the "Revenge" from 1588. Ship on broom is a two masted schooner with view from stern. Broom straw is in poor condition. There is an extra hook on the back, probably for a poker. « Less

Circa 1900-10. Rare, Art Nouveau brass "hunt" motif fireplace tool set and stand. I have never seen a utilitarian household piece with so much fine casting and detail. This amazing stand features a large hunting dog lying down yet alert on it's front, a rifle leaning upright against one side, a dead rabbit hanging on the other side, several dead game birds along the outer edge of the bowl and an English hunting horn wrapped around the top. The decorative elements that are not Hunt themed are in the finest Art Nouveau tradition with high relief flowers and vines on the bowl, trunk, final and arms. This set is complete and original with it's matching fireplace tools. This stand would also make a great umbrella or cane stand. Very good original condition, we have cleaned (soap & water) the dirt which exposed all the beautiful detail and fine old patina on the very heavy cast brass. The entire stand seems to lean a little to the right but it does not seem bent or distorted in any way so I believe that is how the maker intended it to be. 22" tall x 13" wide x 11" deep. Price 750.00. « Less
