Made in Worcester, England, during the so-called Dr Wall period 1755 - 1783. Measurements: Saucer is 4 1/2 inches diameter and 3/4 inches high; The bowl bowl is 3 inches diameter and 1 3/4 inches high; Classic piece in excellent condition one very small glaze flaw on bowl where it may have touched another piece in the kiln. These are a Identical Pair that have made it through the past 250 Plus Years. Very Good Condition as well as Wonderful Quality. Nice gilded edges. A few tiny nicks that are hardly noticeable. Pink interior. Stilt marks to underside of cover. Mottled underside to tureen with three stilt marks and painted pattern number ''2763'' in reserve. Good. Cover: Kiln effect: glaze miss to fish nose; uneven glaze application to underside around the rim. Restored chip to tail. Tureen: Small flake to rim. Repaired crack to rim on one side. Early to mid 20thC, circa 1940 Germano da Silva Palissy Majolica wall platter which features a banana, bunch of grapes, pear, gherkin, passion fruit, orange, apple, lemon, strawberries, a bunch of grapes and a squash. Colouration: green, cream, brown, are predominant. The piece bears makers marks for the Germano da Silva pottery. Bears a pattern number, ''354''. Book reference not found. Good. Chips to the footrim, probably from stilt marks in the firing process. Flaking to the coloured paintwork that was applied to the fruit. Only remnants remain on some of the fruit. Victorian, circa 1840 Early Victorian Staffordshire figure of a lion and lamb, both recumbent on a shaped, plinth base. The lion''s tail is swept over it''s back. Titled base with purple transfer print reading ''The young Lion shall lie down with the Lamb ISAIAH x10. 6v.'' Attributed to John Lloyd of Shelton. Shredded clay forms the lion''s mane and tail, and the lamb''s coat. Dull gilt decoration to the base. Decorated all round. Vent hole to underside. Similar piece illustrated figure 3027/3028, page 260, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding. Fair. A few small paint losses to lion''s nose and back.
