From the Art Deco period, two names for quality and design are well recognized by collectors: Lightolier and Consolidated Glass. With this fixture, we have the best of these two companies.
From Lightolier's 1933 catalog we have a lovely example of the "Stylux" model 2641 six shade, but with five sockets, chandelier using some of the best that Consolidated glass made in shades. Right below this model, in the catalog, Lightolier states in BOLD letters: "Quality never disappoints".
Lightolier made this model both as a long drop with chain, and a lower drop for close ceiling applications. Here we have the lower ceiling version. It was priced in the 1933 catalog, in the raging depression, at $17.25. In our catalog, that 1933 price is crossed out and $20.25 is written in pencil. And it was the depression!
This Lightolier chandelier has been completely UL re-wired with 5 sockets to conform to UL guidelines. Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb. It is totally ready to go and will be supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.
Measurements: 18" tall by 17 1/2" wide.
Price for complete, UL re-wired 6 shade chandelier is $1450.00, plus careful shipping. « Less

Circa 1930's, the cast sconces have an interesting deco design on the fitter with some streamline touches on the backplates. The shades are two colors with a clear beaded edge at the top and another clear beaded edge where it goes into the fitter. The shade center is more white than a yellow. We attribute any yellow color to the light bulb.
Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs with a switch have been installed in each. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.
A pair of very nice pair of American made sconces.
Measurements: 10" tall. The shade has a maximum diameter of 5 7/8" while the round part of the backplate has a diameter of 4 1/2". Projects into a room from the wall at 7".
For the complete, re-wired pair of sconces, $325.00 plus careful shipping. « Less
