Having had dozens and dozens of two light fixtures over the years, it takes a rather unusual one to get our undivided attention. But, here is such a light. Probably the best part of this light is the heavily embossed glass shades which are suspended on three chain each. How cute ! Of course we also added our LED light bulb to it so we could tuck the shade up a bit higher and like the overall affect. Simply a neat two light pendant. Circa 1900-10, it is a mixture of pretty metal work and intricate embossing on the shades. First double one we have had like this. Of course, the chains can be shortened for a lower ceiling, so let us know what you have to work with and we will be happy to help. Completely re-wired in our UL approved shop, it is ready to hang immediately upon arrival. Even two LED bulbs will be included. What a nice pair of turn of the century sconces this is! Those original antique shades are simply works of art by themselves. The shades were pressed into a mold for the pattern. Then the ruby tipped edges were then applied. The amber and ruby glass combination is very attractive. The backplates are pewter finish and have a switch installed at the very bottom which was renewed when the sconces were re-wired with new sockets and wiring. Very Rustic Williamson/Beardslee 4 Light Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier A 1930's chandelier designed and made by R. Williamson & Co., and marketed in the 1930's by Beardslee, who had bought the Williamson company for their excellent designs. All parts are present, nothing missing. The condition is VERY rustic. Look at the close up picture of the bottom to know what we mean. The shades, however, are in remarkable 90% mint condition. At present, this light has a drop of 27 1/2 inches. It has a diameter of about 17 1/2 inches. The canopy diameter is 5 5/8 inches. Electrical: This chandelier has been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed. Each socket is rated for 100 watts so 400 watts of light is available. All mounting hardware will be supplied so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it. A great value for a rustic Art Deco 4 light chandelier from the 1930's. Set of FOUR Williamson/Beardslee sconces with lovely poly-chrome original coloring. Beardslee bought Williamson during the depression and during the name switch-over, you can find sconces and chandeliers with both names put into the castings. Circa 1930s, the frame was cast and artists hand painted the remarkable variation of poly-chrome colors. The basic background color is a coppery-bronze. Accent colors for the designs includes accents of green and pink. Really quite attractive. Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal sockets, for everyday medium base bulbs, have been installed in each one. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied. Off/on rotary switch has been replaced with an identical one that Williamson/Beardslee used. It can be seen below the shade. This group of sconces matches our ANT-255 Williamson/Beardslee 4-light chandelier and our ANT-107 Williamson/Beardslee 5-light chandelier. Measurements: 11" tall by 6" wide and projects into the room from the wall 5". We will sell these per pair in case you only want one pair.
