Delightful antique four-light neoclassical chandelier, dating from the early 1900s. This brass pan light begins with an understated canopy and moves down to a decorative loop finial. Beneath it, the disc-shaped body extends out in four chandelier arms; the undersides are embellished with scrolling details and a bellflower finial hanging from each arm. One last floral finial finishes off the base of the fixture. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A larger than normal two panel wall sconce. The sconce has a little age to it...say 30 or so years old. The detail of the castings are precision because they are made with a very large die cast machine. Being manufacturers ourselves, we recognize the method. The brass plating is nicely aged for that look. We bought the contents of a theatre from a demo contractor and ended up with 20 of these beauties. Here are the first two. The cut glass panels are simply amazing. Yes, cut glass...not pressed. You change the light bulbs by sliding one glass panel up to reveal the socket. The top and bottom are open for heat dissipation to protect the glass. You cannot see these openings since the top and bottom decor go way past them. Electrical: The fixture has been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Inside the case, there is a double socket that takes two normal everyday medium base bulbs. We recommend tubular desk lamp bulbs called T10’s and we will supply these for each sconce purchased. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied. All in all, a very unusual and nice American made sconce. Measurements: 21 3/4” tall by 8 3/8” wide. Projects into a room from the wall a mere 5” 2 of these sconces are currently available. A wonderful antique five-light iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. This Spanish Revival chandelier begins with a hammered canopy with a crimped upper edge; it comes down in a chain to a two-tiered iron body composed of wide iron bands ornamented with faux strap detail and connected to each other by textured iron bands. Bracket-shaped chandelier arms extend from the lower band, each supporting a hammered bobeche with a waved edge at the top and a spear-shaped finial at the bottom. Iron bands converge at the bottom, riveted to a center piece. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A charming antique three-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original finish. The chandelier begins in a hammered canopy with volute detail, coming down in a chain to a trumpet-shaped section that splits into the three chains, which support the chandelier body. The chandelier body has a hammered texture with a design radiating from the center; the three chains are each supported by a loop atop a pair of volutes. The chandelier arms feature a stylized sunburst design, and each holds a downward-facing bobeche. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A remarkable antique Spanish Revival five-light chandelier, made of brass and iron with Bakelite or celluloid. Dating from the 1920s, the chandelier features a volute loop at the top; the chandelier body is composed of five brass sections ornamented with volutes, a shield, and some floral detail. Each chandelier arm supports a cast iron bobeche with a pierced design and a dangling finial. A center column, brass with sections of marbled Bakelite or celluloid, runs the length of the chandelier, finishing in a dangling finial. Pair of gorgeous antique Art Deco slipper shade sconces, dating from the early 1900s. These sconces are crowned by a ziggurat stair-stepping design, with triangle and scrolling details. Below, the glass shade is inserted into the backplate at a V-shaped opening. The original glass slip shade features vertical ribbed details and wavy horizontal lines. Around each shade, the sconces feature decorative scrolls and foliate details. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. So nice to be able to offer another really nice light to you. Here we have one of the scarce lights of the deco era from Mid West MFG. This is the 6 light Soleure chandelier. Mid West only made the best quality lighting. This chandelier is solid bronze with a great original finish. The castings are so beautiful, as well, with lots of pierced parts which are...were...so hard to do as any casting man will tell you. The finish does have some minor flakes and thinning but it also has a nice mellow appearance and most antiquers would not touch this lovely...aged... finish. This light has been totally re-wired as well with six new sockets and a new main stem wire. The drop of this light now is 30 inches and it has a diameter of about 20 inches.....shade tip to shade tip. The ceiling canopy measures about 7 inches in diameter. The five shades...and bottom shade...are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and they all match each other very well. Naturally, and is usual, there is a slight bit of roughness around the side flags of the shades that hold them into the bronze receivers...but that is not seen after the shades are mounted into these holders. Light fixtures require special shipping, our shopping cart uses a default shipping amount, you will be invoiced for actual freight charges.
