Marvelous antique English Tudor chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. This five-light chandelier descends in a chain to a twisted hook resting on a hammered platform, with a hammered column below. At the base of the column, the chandelier comes out into five bands accented with leaves. The bands curve downward to support a hammered ring, from which extend five chandelier arms with hammered bobeches. The bottom of the chandelier finishes in a dangling finial accented with a curled leaf. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-3/8” wide and 16” tall to the top of the hook, and the fixture is 29” long overall. NC1258-RW   « Less

This is a fabulous antique five-light Tudor iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with an elegant loop finial with volutes. A decorative baluster iron piece runs down the center of the chandelier, surrounded by curled iron bands accented with flower rosettes. The bands, fastened with leaf appliqués, flare out at the bottom of the chandelier to form arms, each with a foliate bobeche. A floral finial completes the light fixture. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Wonderful early 1900s copper lantern with a beautiful verdigris patina, suitable for either interior or exterior use. This lantern features a round canopy coming down in a diamond loop finial to the sloped roof. The body is made of beautiful amber granite glass with evenly spaced thin vertical rods. This porch light is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A wonderful antique cast iron single-arm sconce in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. This sconce was featured in an antique Moe-Bridges lighting catalog as shown, and Moe-Bridges observes, “The vogue toward Bracket Lights is becoming more pronounced.” And we can see why – it’s quite a delightful design. The sconce is crowned with a stylized red fleur-de-lis, with vines and flowers below. An oval torsade border surrounds the wrought iron sconce arm, which projects from the center of the sconce to support a double-tier foliate bobeche in autumn colors. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconce measures 11-3/4” tall, 5-1/8” wide, and projects 6-7/8” from the wall. A matching pair of double-arm sconces is also available, item # NSP703-RW. NSP702-RW   « Less

These single-arm sconces each feature a round white porcelain backplate with chrome stripes and horizontal ribbing. The porcelain bobeches have the same stripe and ribbing details. These wall lamps would be fabulous for use over a bathroom mirror, especially with the working electrical outlets located on the underside of each arm extension. Five chandelier arms ascend from a cluster of acanthus at the bottom, supporting foliate bobeches connected by a double torsade border. Two matching antique five light chandeliers came out of a home in Indianapolis, Indiana, and date from the 1920s. These unique fixtures feature a two-tone finish and begin in an understated canopy and chain. Each upper body features narrow scrolling bands and rosebud details. The fixture works its way down to a lower body of decorative latticework featuring shields, scrolls, fleur-de-lis and flowers. The five chandelier arms extend out in round floral bobeches. The chandelier tapers down in a gadrooned foliate piece, finishing in a flower bud finial. These lights are in excellent condition, have been professionally rewired, and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation.
