Amazing antique art deco slip shade chandelier with original polychrome finish, dating from the 1930s. This five-light fixture begins with an ornate canopy, decorated with graphic and traditional art deco details. The canopy comes down in a chain, connecting to the upper body of the chandelier with a loop finial. The body of the chandelier is a gorgeous ziggurat design, with eye-catching red and yellow polychrome details. The lower body of the chandelier features scrolling foliage details with horizontal ribbing, interspersed with the original glass shades; these five slipper shades are ornamented with beautiful scroll and curlicue details. The bottom of the fixture features a design of overlapping leaves tapering down to an acorn finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the slipper shades, just the expected fleabites around the rims. Beautiful antique six light chandelier with striking details, dating from the 1920's. This iron and bronze fixture begins with a canopy that features anthemion details, coming down in a chain to a trefoil loop finial. The chandelier body is made up of six vertical bands that curve out at the top, coming down to meet at the level of a circular base holding six light cups. The body features a variation of decorative leaf details throughout. The circular base has a beautiful outer border of leaves, beading and a scalloped lower edge. Beneath this base are more ornate details of leaves, scrollwork, and flowers, creating a beautiful radial pattern when viewed from below. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Handsome antique cast iron Tudor five-light chandelier, circa 1930. The light fixture was made by Virden Company. The chandelier begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a loop finial ornamented with a stylized pair of dogs’ heads. Below the finial, the chandelier body is supported by chains hanging from five trefoil hooks. Each chain is accented by a foliate medallion. The ring-shaped, cast iron chandelier body features a hammered texture and an underside decorated with abstracted foliate designs. Extending from the chandelier body are five arms, formed of stylized fleur-de-lis, which support hammered bobeches with twisted finials. On the underside of the chandelier, volute details converge into a foliate medallion, from which hangs a scroll-and-leaf finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with shields, coming down in a chain to a large finial with a red and green polychrome crest in the middle, surrounded by volutes and leaf detail. Below, the cast iron chandelier body is ornamented with shields, volutes, and anthemia, matching the design on the shades. The chandelier finishes in a dangling polychrome finial with foliate detail. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with one hairline on one of the shades (pictured) which is on the back of the shade and very hard to see. Dating from the late 19th Century, the chandelier begins with a sleek canopy, coming down in a pole to an orb-shaped chandelier body. Three chandelier arms extend straight out from the chandelier, each ending in a ball with a shallow, flared glass shade below and a bobeche above, with a scrolled gas key between.
