This flush-mount fixture features a silver canopy with decorative indentations creating a simple border around the underside of the rim. This flush-mount fixture is pan-shaped, the canopy marked by ribbon, ribs, and hammered details. Three downward facing bobeches support glass shades that feature vertical stripes, horizontal ribbing, and X cross details. In the center of the fixture is a pinecone finial. The light fixture is in very good condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier begins with a silver plated loop finial in an inverted heart shape, atop a baluster body that ends in a dangling foliate finial. Five smooth chandelier arms are fastened by acanthus leaves near the middle of the chandelier, alternating with long prisms. Each arm forms an S-curve, supporting simple bobeches hung with hand-pulled prisms. A wonderful antique pendant light with an unusual glass shade, dating from the early 1900’s. The one-light Neoclassical pendant begins with a brass canopy with cutouts filled with copper; an unusually shaped chain connects to a simple loop at the top. The fixture features a two-piece hinged construction and opens in the middle, making it very easy to change the bulb. Curved amber slag glass panels, overlaid with brass leaf designs, form the body of the lantern. This light fixture is in very good antique condition; one panel has a crack on the inside (pictured), covered by the brass ornamentation on the outside.
