Antique mortise locks with their original skeleton keys, strikeplates, and screws, probably made by Barrows Lock Co. These locks are new old stock and have never been used. The locks feature an oil-rubbed bronze type finish, unusual for antique locks. Each lock is in excellent condition. Antique mortise locks with their original screws and strike plates, designed for use with a thumb turn and used primarily as bathroom locks. Probably made by Barrows Lock Co. in the late 1920’s or early 1930’s, these locks are new old stock and have never been used. They feature a bronze faceplate with an aluminum case, and each lock is in excellent condition. Antique door hardware sets by Lockwood, circa 1910, with beautifully ornamented doorknobs and backplates. These are new old stock and have never been used. The door knobs (H-435 in Leonard Blumin's classification system) feature a gorgeous fourfold flower design, and the doorplates are ornamented with acanthus leaves and berries, with scrolls curling around the edges of the plate. The door knobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter and 2 ¼" deep; the plates are 8 5/8" x 2 ½". THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SET; THERE ARE NOW THREE SETS AVAILABLE. Antique brass door hardware sets, in Yale & Towne’s “Meridian” design, circa 1910. This hardware features an elegant Neoclassical scroll design with unusual oval doorknobs; the plates are crowned with palmettes and ornamented with volutes. Each set includes two plates and a pair of knobs with their connecting three-part rod and set screw (enough hardware for one door). These door knob sets are in excellent condition with a lovely patina that gives each set a distinct look. The backplates are 2 3/8” by 8 ¼”. One doorknob does have a slight indentation on the center patera (pictured) which is only noticeable upon close inspection. The doorknobs are 2 ¾” tall, 1 5/8” wide, and 2 1/8” deep. A fabulous antique cast iron decorative letter slot in Reading Hardware’s “Windsor” pattern, dating from the 1880’s and including its hard-to-find matching interior slot. This Eastlake mail slot features the distinctive Windsor geometric pattern. The door reads “Letters.” This door hardware is in excellent condition.
