Circa 1840 Chinese Export Blue and White Teapot. The top of the teapot has a border which appears to be blue and white tobacco leaf. The cover is a marriage and their is no handle as that must have been the way it was made for some reason that I am not familiar with. Circa 1800-1820 Chinese Export Drum Shaped Teapot in Blue and White with faded monogram initials. This teapot was made for Export for the American Market in the Late 18th Century to the Early 19th century. It measures 5" in height and the diameter is 5" at the bottom. Wonderful double strapped handle with wonderful splotching where the handle was attached into the body of this wonderful teapot. The monogram is pretty worn from hands having handled it but it appears to be REL in Script. Excellent Quality with no chips, cracks or restoration.   « Less

Circa 1750-1760 Chinese Export Judgment of Paris Dinner Plate measuring 9 3/8" in diameter. We originally had THREE Perfect of these Plates but we had sold a identical pair to a regular customer. The one single plate left is a Beautiful gilt shell and scroll border with delicately drawn figures from the painting by Jean Paul Rubens with beautiful well executed colors of turquoise, bright green, with red and pink enamels. Very Fine Condition. This Greek Mythology was one of the great events that lead up to the Trojan War. This plate measure 9 3/8" in diameter and is 1 1/2" in depth. We Actually had four matching plates that just came out of Santa Barbara California Estate. This is the last plate as we have sold the other three plates. The spout seems to have a slight imperfection, but other than that this nice piece is perfect. Measures 3 1/2" in height. A very nice painted scene of a person crossing a bridge over water with boats in view and a pagoda in his sight. There are figures in boats in view of the bridge. Great blue color.   « Less

Circa 1780-1800 Chinese Export Mandarin Palette Soup Tureen Undertray,ONLY. This platter I believe was the underplate for a Soup Tureen. This is a Fantastic Good Quality piece of 18TH Century Chinese Export Porcelain. Rarely do you see this color combination in the mandarin palette. It is more subdued than the bright and intense colors of pinks, yellow,and blue. Those intense colors that I am referring to are probably made for the french market and this pattern was probably made for the English Marker. Nice scenes with people in garden and courtyard setting with a pagoda building and a river with hills in the background with houses and boats with pagodas.   « Less

Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Cache Pot with original undertray. The undertray is rose canton which is the way they were made. The undertrays get a lot of abuse and are usually not decorated in rose medallion or rose mandarin but are decorated in rose canton. The cache pot is 3 1/2" in height and 4 1/2" in diameter at the top. The undertray is 4 3/4" in diameter. Decorated nicely with rose medallion figures in court scenes. No chips, cracks or restoration. Their is also a drain hole in the bottom of the cache pot for the excess water to drain.   « Less
