- Rogers, Smith & Co. (1862-1863) organized to manufacture silver-plated holloware, formed in Hartford 1862, moved to New Haven, Conn. 1862-68, The RS&Co was sold in 1863 to Meriden Britannia Co with all facilities incorporated into Meriden by 1877.
